Good joke with dollar I've found a great notebook for dad specifically for bike rides in which he can put pictures, write notes about the itinerary like sleeping and food addresses, altitude, the number of kilometers per day... etc. Along with a map book with all the bicycle roads in france. My brother only wants Mangas but I'd like to get him something a bit different too. And for his girlfriend I'm thinking a crakers with some makeup things in it.

That's nice. We're hosting Christmas this year (the 24th dinner and the 25th lunch). This year I'm planning on making a real ham. Dad's even ask for it. Now I just have to find a gammon ham but I've never seen one at the butcher. I'll have to ask around. I've only ever seen those massive +10kg hams to cook with the big bone in the middles 🤷🏻♀️

Hey gang We've put up the Christmas tree yesterday evening. Now Looping is having a blast hiding under it and attacking everyone - human or cat - when they walk by at last he's not climbing in it. I'm staying at the house one more night as I've woken up with a massive pain in my whole upper right back and didn't felt like driving in that condition. I hope you're all having a nice end of the weekend

Mom was part of a child minder association. Every year they'd do a little Christmas theater show with games, a raffle, cakes and drinks for the kids and families. Due to covid they didn't do it last year. This year with the current restrictions they couldn't do a show so they created a mini village and each child minder did a "house" from recycled materials. There was the post office, a hotel, a school... and the first one when entering the tent was the nursery "Chez Cathy" in tribute to my mom. Each house was on sale in a silent auction but this one they're offering it to us. I couldn't hold my tears. It's gorgeous and mom would have love it. The first one with the sign "Chez Cathy" on the right is hers.
