Ugh I've spent the afternoon at the mall (getting my eyebrows plucked after what felt like having lived in under a rock for months, weekly grocery shopping plus some stuff for Christmas meals and bought new low boots) thinking hey it's the middle of the week in the middle of the day and there's still a weekend before Christmas so there shouldn't be too many people yeah right... there were lines of about 4 to 6 people in front of the shops and the same amount of people at the cashiers.
I've bought boxes of chocolates from this little chocolate factory less than 20km away. It's expensive but so so good and the chocolate they buy is respectful of the earth and people that cultivate and harvest it. And each year on the 2 weekends before Easter you can visited the factory. Anyway, they always give you a little one to sample I got a little teary eyes thinking about mom. We'd often go there and stuff our faces with those little chocolate with ganachewith rice crispy insides. The lady noticed and I explained, she said she remembered mom and so gave me 6 of those little chocolates for free.
