On the subject of Boyhood winning best picture… I watched Boyhood this Sunday and I must say, the movie underwhelmed me but that’s where its magic is. If “Boyhood” was a kid in school, it would be the one that was always being itself. Past best picture winners had a flare for the dramatic and although Boyhood had some intense scenes, those were never the focus point of the film. The reason why it should win Best Picture is because it doesn’t try. Boyhood is a landmark in the film industry and the quintessential independent film.

ugh. Struck A Chord!

I've never had an "ex" but I'm extremely weak so id be the one to believe his stories... true or false.

I've Known. I've always known. I would say something and it'll happenen. Id think of a movie that's never played on tv or that hasn't played in a long time and the next day I see the add that it's playing. Sometimes while I type the very word is being spoken on tv. But these are small occurrences. I'm pretty sure all of us experience this in our life but I've had three very REAL things happen that I spoke about by chance. First occurence. I think this happened May-July. Mom and I are walking in the shopping mall and I half jokingly said "I get a feeling we are gonna bump into your sister today," Guess what happened next? We bumped into her sister's neighbour. Second occurence. This was intended to be A crude joke. I told my mother, "Did you hear (Name of woman) died?" Well this was a lie. She didn't die. I hadn't seen this woman in about 8 years since we moved. I only made this joke because she has a funny name.that happened to jump into my head,I will try and spell it out, "Clup-San" Guess what happened? The very next night SHE KNOCKED ON THE DOOR AND I EVEN TOLD HER I WAS JOKING ABOUT HER THE PREVIOUS NIGHT. I couldn't believe it. There was another element to this. Remember I joked that she had died? The reason for her visit was that she needed money to go see a doctor and had come and ask an old neighbour (My mom) Third occurence. This happened to me on 16 October. I was starring at the class photo of my grade 12 class and I saw a picture of the girl who I took to my matric ball/ Senior prom like you would call it. I felt sad that I lost contact with her as soon as I left High school in 2012. Next day I'm sitting in Mcdonald and I look over my shoulder and there the girl sat with a young boy and looked like she was expecting another. Of course this could easily be dismissed as coincidental but come on.... what do you think?
