  1. I think he is bothered but is pushing it down as much as possible. If he allows the feeling to take over he may break. I'm sure they will surface again from time to time His father is Gideon and you will meet him in a different part of the Epilogues and they will have their own short as soon as i find the time to start writing them. Thank you all for reading/reacting/commenting.
  2. Ali and I are of course under lockdown and we are considered at risk because Mark is still at work. He works for Iceland and is doing up to 12hour days. Because he is interacting with customers he has to have a shower when he gets home but there is still a high risk of him bringing something home. I had to go pick up a prescription a day after the lockdown started. I had to queue to get in the local shopping centre and then queue to get into Boots. It took me about an hour and a half to get my medicine. Most people have been great and follow the rules with little moaning. However, you always get someone and I've come across a few really rude idiots while doing the weekly shop. Ali and I are finally getting into a routine to get her homework done and my housework, but it is slow going. I love my daughter and husband but I am so looking forward to some alone time when this is all over. I hadn't realized how noisy a house/neighbourhood could be when everyone is forced to stay at home.

  4. They will heal a lot quicker now they are back together You're welcome Thank you for reading/reacting/commenting it means a lot.
  5. Yes, he does. I'm sure they have a lot to talk about. I'm sure. There will be some short scenes done about the characters to tie up loose ends and to show how they get on in their happily ever after. Kitryn does know when to behave...mostly I will write more on this as short scenes (as i said above) but I really think this story has run it's course as a whole story for now. However, if anyone wants to comment with or send me the quesitons they want answered, i will make sure they are part of the shorts that are written. Thank you all for staying with me as I've written this story. Your comments have been very welcome and have given me ideas on the path this story would take.
  6. Hi Marty...Hope you're doing okay. I have broadband but it has slowed down since all this started. Mostly it is okay, but there are times when i want to swear at it.
  7. That make three of us. I was just getting paid by the charity i work for in the last few months. But, with the money they are now losing by their cafe being shut I’ll be back at volunteer status when I go back.
  8. hi Albert. Sorry my internet played up and site wouldn’t load. Things are getting boring here. It is difficult to concentrate on my work when I have to also make sure Alisha is doing hers and not playing computer games instead
  9. Tristan rolled his eyes at his mate's antics. Carl was chasing Kitryn round the training cave trying to get his trousers back. They had just finished their work out and Kitryn had snuck in and stolen the trousers off the bench. Tristan leant back against the wall and watched Carl’s long legs eating up the distance. The tight workout shorts left very little to the imagination and Tristan was enjoying the view. Kitryn’s cat was fast but not fast enough. He dodged and ducked but Carl was fa
  10. But still doing school work online. no rest for the learners.
  11. “Brian O’Connor, are you listening to me?” Angel struggled to get an arm free but had no success. “You need to loosen your grip before you crack my ribs.” Still no response. Angel sighed and said the one thing they were reasonably sure would get through Brian’s head. “Love, you’re hurting me—” He’d barely got the last word out before Brian’s grip loosened and his distraught face lifted from Angel’s shoulder where it had been buried for a good hour. “I nearly lost you.” The tone of their
  12. Helen clung to her daughter and refused to let go. “Mom, I’m fine. I wasn’t hurt physically at all.” Karen wriggled but couldn’t get even a finger free. “I thought I’d lost you,” Helen whispered brokenly. Zion tried patting his mate’s back but all that did was get him pulled into the hug and Helen cried harder. Crying from the little bedroom off the lounge they were in finally broke through Helen’s consciousness and made her move. Karen overtook her running for the bedroom
  13. Tristan flopped down onto the bed. “I am so glad that is all finally over. I hadn’t realised how stressed I was until it was finally all over.” Carl sat by his mate’s side and patted a hand on his thigh. “What about everything we’ve found out. Do you want to get tested and see who your father really is?” Tristan sighed. He’d known he couldn’t avoid the conversation, but he’d hoped to put it off at least for a while. He caught hold of Carl’s shirt and pulled him down so they sprawled
  14. Yes, they do. I am hoping to revisit them in the future. Here's to the battle being over 🍺 Thank you both for your comments and continued support, it means a lot
  15. Kitryn looked up when Simon’s arms came around him in a tight hug. They’d been back at the den for hours. First, he’d had to see to his sister’s body. He was grateful to Elder Patrick for allowing Kitryn to bury Jenny on the den’s property. The elder had even had some of his men help to dig the grave. Kitryn had then stood with Fran as they said their goodbyes. Or as Fran said, “Goodbye Mummy’s body, I’ll see you tonight for my story.” That had sent Kitryn into another round of tears. His ne

  17. Since you all said similar things I wanted to write a group reply rather than risk repeating myself to each person. I thought long and hard about ways for Jenny to live, but one thing that has been a fixed rule of all my shifter universes, is that shifter cann ot live without thwir mates. Especially a fated mate. Jenny was true mated and therefore needed her mate to survive. The idea is that if mates die close togehter they will meet again their next lives. Jenny has circumvated this by linking herself to Fran. Like any good mother she wants to be there to see her child grow up and be invovled in her life. Hopefully Fran will thrive and find her mate and go on to live happily ever after. Thank you all for reading, reacting, and commenting.

    Chapter 26.3

Yep, now starts the clean up Yep, Kitryn wasn't going to let her get away a second time. Plenty of mouthwash and maybe replace the taste with the taste of his mate I did consider dragging it out more, but i decided it had gone on long enough. I think i may make the real father the feature of a short additional scene at some point in the future. Yes, this was exactly my intention. I was inspired because i was listening to a Terry Pratectt book and this quote stuck in my mind. Thank you Yep, she's out the way for good. Thank you all, as always, for reading, reacting, and commenting.
  19. Things moved very fast once Cheryl was dead. Simon coaxed Kitryn off the male and he was restrained before being led away to be questioned. Before everyone had had time to really process everything they were being herded out of the basement and they were guided to one side. “Angel,” O’Conner’s joyful cry echoed across the clearing in front of the house. Everyone turned to see the mer-man sweeping up a slim person with long white hair. Kitryn felt a little of the tension leave his sho
  20. Kitryn hissed again. He was going to kill this bitch and all their problems would be solved. “You really think you can just kill me?” Cheryl taunted. Kitryn tilted his head, was she a mind reader now? Cheryl continued to rant as though she wasn’t surrounded by a group of men who had every reason to kill her on the spot. “I’ve got insurance.” She turned to glare at Tristan. “I have your father. If you want him to live you should back down.” Tristan threw back his head and l

    Chapter 26.2

Thank you I'm sure everyone will have an idea of what to do with her. Maybe they can toss a coin or play rock, paper, scissors. Cheryl will hopefully be out of the picture very soon and everyone will be free. Thank you all for reading, reacting, and commenting.
  23. Hi all, Just passing through. Hope everyone is doing well.
