Photo is of Australia’s Governor General Hurley, and newly appointed Indian Ocean Administrator Natasha Griggs, who has been in that position since 2017… I searched for and found no photos of a former administrator of christmas island in full military dress uniform… Most of the appointed Administrators for Christmas and the Cocos Keeling Islands have been ex politicians or diplomats.

The last class of the day was spent down at the beach at Champion Bay, where the new Water Sports Activity Centre was officially launched, and we all had the chance to try out or watch some of the activities that will take place regularly at this new location. Feeling tired after a fairly long day, I finished my homework as quickly as I could before retiring to my room for an early night, as I continued to worry about what had happened to the Stingray and its skipper. We spent a good ten minutes chatting, while our parents chatted with Jordan’s parents, and Alistair helped Beatrice and Jackson to load up their luggage onto the plane and to have a good look inside.
