  6. Why was it so cold in the office, I thought, as I lifted my head off the office desk, and stood up to adjust the air-conditioner temperature. When I couldn’t grip the temperature dial, I frowned, and I turned around to look back towards my desk, and I received the shock of my life. There was me lying facing down on the deck, and I looked very pale and very cold. Suddenly the movie ‘Ghost’ sprang into my mind, surely this is not what has happened to me, or has it? Am I really dead, and is t

    Oce Chapter 9

After dinner, Jocelyn and I were kept busy preparing for the arrival of the naval guests, with programming an access card for each one of them, allowing the Naval Cadets and Naval personnel access to limited areas of the submarine, during the four-day voyage. I had also made up an access card for Xander, but granted him access to a few extra locations, including most of deck one, and the bow section of deck eight, as well as most parts of decks three, four, five and six. Once this was c

  12. While the band members and Devon where eating, the band manager informed them that the next two planned concerts had been postponed to a later date, due to problems with the next venue, and security issues, this now gave them five full days before the next stage of the tour begins, and it was suggested that they find a good hide away and have a short holiday. Devon smiled and stood up and walked over to a corner away from the group so he could make a phone call. “Hello Cousin, this is Devon
  13. Like how he did it on the beach, Devon started speaking the words, but began singing at the start of the second line, and David came in on the bagpipes on the following line, this time when it came to the rest of the band to join it at the start of the second verse, they came into the song one line at a time, and they were not on the stage, but scattered halfway up the first tier on each side and halfway up the second tier on each side, standing just two feet from the nearest concert seats.
  14. A few moments later, everyone was back at the bungalow, and they congratulated Devon for such a magnificent performance, the band manager appeared about ten minutes later with a CD in hand, and he placed it in the CD play and pressed play, where the sound of applause fading came on, soon followed by the sound effects of the first rumble from the wobble board could be heard, they all sat silently as they listened to the recording, and as the singing ended and the bagpiper played a few more notes
  15. When Robert and Devon returned from their chat with the skipper, they announced that their trip has been extended by another two days, Robert said he had spoken to the band manager to alter the plans, and the manager had packed their belongings and stored them in his suite, so the band had officially checked out of the resort, which sent the reporters off looking for where they had gone. Devon said that their other planned activities have been postponed till they return, so now they were fr

  17. Devon was the first of the three to finish all of his exams, and after relaxing for most of the afternoon, Devon went for a walk around town, and he stopped when he came across a travel agency. Walking in, he saw a wall covered with tour brochures, of places all over the world, and he felt a bit lost as he had no idea where he wanted to go. “How may I help you young man” Devon’s thoughts were interrupted by the enquiry, “Oh, yes, um I want to go on a very unique holiday, nothing that is

    ADC Chapter 1

Did I or did I not have Nth Americans in the second story of ‘Outback’, which had a positive view on the American characters, as I did with another story ‘Deception’, with a holiday in North America by the main character!!! Maybe check those stories out first, and maybe review your comments... i chose Boston, because of its historical architecture, and not the people.
  19. “Wow that is quite an eventful couple of days son, I guess I better get you to work on the farm, can’t have your brain shrinking away with no activity can we” Devon’s father – Hugh said, “give him a chance to shower and eat first, he hasn’t had anything since dinner time last night” his mother added, and she turned around and began to make some scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoes, toast and orange juice. Once Devon had eaten, having showered and changed while breakfast was cooking, rinsing out

Enjoying the story a lot. Anticipating much more to come.
