Mark, Thank you for another great chapter. I thought that the way that you brought Brad and Cam together and had them discuss right up front the age difference, Matt and other potential pitfalls was great. Let's hope that Matt doesn't freak out when they get to Boston. I think that is only a remote possibility as he is with Wade and you have portrayed him as more mature in recent chapters. Also, the insight into Zach's thinking was terrific. As problematic as it is for a pro-football player to come out in 2014 it must have seemed much much worse to someone looking at that possibility in 2002. The way that he is trying to handle it by pretending to be a religious zealot and still loving Will must be taxing on him and must be extremely difficult for him. I hope that you share more from his perspective as he is becoming an interesting character. Jim

Thanks Mark for another terrific chapter. The phone call with Will and Zach was a bit odd. It was kind of abrupt, with no terms of endearment at the end and no hint of jealousy from Will at Zach going to a party. Is this a harbinger of trouble to come, a cooling of the relationship, Will becoming even more mature or just a reader putting too much emphasis on something trivial? Hmmm, time will tell. I have told you before and I will tell you again, you are an awesome writer. Thanks for writing and sharing it with us!

Chapter 19 Special Assignment
JimP commented on Daddydavek's story chapter in Chapter 19 Special Assignment
Just finished the 19 chapters that you have written on this story and it is terrific. As I am the impatient type, can you just open a telepathic link with me so I can download the rest of the story from your mind and not have to wait for those tasks of writing and editing? Thanks again for writing and sharing your work with us. Jim -
Hi Mark, I understand what you are saying about his legal age. However, with the tantrums that he throws when he doesn't get his way and the section in the chapter about him just recently developing and getting a sex drive, his mental maturity seems to be somewhere nearer 12 or 13 and I think that is the part that creeps me out abut JJ and Alex. Maybe he will quickly mature with your skillful writing

Excellent 1st chapter of this story. It looks like the characters will be quite interesting. Cannot wait for more!

That is too funny! All of that messiness.

Is JJ 17? he seems younger than that. Mark - How old is JJ at this point in the story?
-
For some reason JJ just seems so much younger than Will when he became sexually active. Maybe because Will was typically the aggressor and seemed more mature, Alex and JJ just seems more like pedophilia(my stomach threatens to lose its content at that thought).

It will be interesting to hear more from JJ's point of view. How old is JJ now? Isn't he a bit young for Alex?

Hi Mark, So glad to see the new CAP book. I had hoped that Alex would fade into the sunset and we wouldn't see him in this book. However, I am in agreement with Bucket1 and if he must make an appearance then maybe the diva JJ can torture him a bit or a lot. Thank you for writing the CAP series. Jim

Hi Mark, Thank you for another terrific chapter. As many of the other reviewers stated, I really enjoyed the way that Will and Zach handled their situation. It showed that Zach had a bit more brain power than I thought as he came up with his unique solution for his problems. Will is growing and I love to see that growth and maturity in your characters. You know, you are excellent at developing your characters and growing and developing them. As someone with a technical background, I am very good at technical writing but the one time I thought that I would try and develop a fictional story, it was a disaster. I worked at it and worked at it and still, it read more like a technical "how-to" manual than a good story. That made me realize how difficult it is to write stories that capture readers the way that you do really made me appreciate people, like you, who are good at writing. I still despise Alex and you really scared me with this reply to another reviewer: "I think there are a number of ways the situation with Wade, Alex, and Matt can work itself out. Wade may be willing to work with Alex on the physical aspect of their relationship, if that's possible. Matt could move to Boston and blow everything up. Or they could all part as enemies. But I think that in the end, Wade and Alex are both classy enough to handle this without a lot of bad feelings, no matter what happens." I so hope that you don't take the approach to have Wade and Alex work it out. I still hope that Wade and Matt are both classy enough to embrace the good part of their history together, forgive each other for the bad part of their history and move forward together. Many couples, like my wonderful partner and I, have had to do just that. When I read the part of the chapter about the note and ring, I thought that finally Wade is going to get it together and get back with Matt and I thought that I could wait with a feeling of hope for your next chapter. Then I read your reply to the review that I quoted above with warnings or hints about how you may resolve it and now it is with more with a feeling of trepidation that I await your next wonderful chapter.

Hi Mark, Every chapter you write of this series and the CAP series is so great. Each chapter leaves me wanting more when I get to the end o fit. Thank you for taking the time to write and share with us. Perhaps some of the sailors can take Lady Elgin below deck and 10 or 12 of them can give her an attitude adjustment. It may be just what she needs. Sorry, if that was a bit too crude.

Hi Mark, Thanks for another fine Flux Chapter. I really enjoyed how Wade and JJ resolved their problems. But what is up with that creep Alex? I do hope you write him out of M&W's life soon. Maybe, you can have them take a cross country trip, with a stop in Memphis. I have some guys here on one of my construction crews that would take Alex out real cheap if I asked them :-)

I just finished reading the GFD series and it is terrific. I see that it has been a several year work for you and I really hope that you continue the series to its conclusion. Thank you for writing it.

Another great chapter. I really enjoyed the way that JJ finally got a little parenting. He has needed it for quite a while. But... argghhhh... Alex, Alex, Alex, puhlease. Matt continues to show an increasing amount of maturity in his thought processes and actions and Wade continues to want to have it all including Alex and Matt in the same home at the same time. Will Wade never pull his head from his posterior region and wake up to the great person that Matt is becoming and get away from Alex? Mark, I know you told me that Alex wasn't after Wade for money that his family had plenty but if that is the case then why did his family have to charge JP such a large amount of money to view their archived documents that JP wanted for his research. If they were such an honorable aristocratic family and didn't need the money wouldn't they allow him to see the documents because it would have been the gentlemanly thing to do for an esteemed researcher? Just like many others, I am anxiously awaiting your nest fantastic installment.

I read the reviews on Chapter 39 this morning and I can see that many people feel like I do that Wade is wanting to "have his cake and eat it too" as more than one reviewer phrased it. Wade is, hopefully, waking up from his Alex induced fog and I hope he continues to do that. Alex, didn't offer to come to Boston with Wade, I wonder if he really even broke up with his girlfriend. I get the impression that Alex is just using wade for some experimentation, and a free place to live in Boston. He may have a title but that doesn't mean he actually has any money and I cannot help but wonder if he just sees Wade as a bank account and someone that he can use. Can you tell that I don't like Alex at all? Just when I thought that Matt had finally matured enough to be a good partner with Wade and we were going to see their relationship mature into a loving and stable relationship, Alex came along and Wade lost his mind. Mark, I do so hope that you have Wade toss Alex to the curb and develop a stable and good relationship with Matt (similar to Stef and JP). There is so much drama and instability with the other characters, it would be interesting to see them Wade and Matt's relationship mature and become an example to the other people around them. After all, Stef and JP aren't getting any younger and someone needs to step up and fulfill that role for the next 10 or so books in this series! You are going to write at least that many more, aren't you?
