Live Together In Another Land
JimP commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Live Together In Another Land
As always, you wrote another marvelous chapter. -
Google me and then decide is you want to Fuck with me. I love it. Mark that was, great writing as always from you and it was such and an excellent way to end the chapter. I am really enjoying this book because it doesn't seem to have as much high drama as some of the previous ones. Instead, do far, it seems to be more about the developing relationships of the characters. It makes for a very nice change of pace.

Just read this story today and it was terrific. Loved the characters, especially Kayden. I am now excited and anxious to read more from you! Thank you so much for writing the story and sharing it with al of us.

Damn you with that cliffhanger letter . It was a great feel good type chapter with Chad and Peterson making up and the great visit with the Justin and then you had to leave us with an ominous letter. Nut more seriously, it was another well written and excellent chapter.

Zach is becoming such a great character. The way that you had him tell the football team about Will and get them to back off was excellent. it is also interesting to read how you are developing JJ. He is quite the scheming little bitch but and interesting one. Alex is falling right into his trap and I cannot wait until Alex goofs up and brings the wrath of JJ down on him!

Thankfully, you didn't go into great detail on the wedding of the yucky old Becca. Its still a shame she didn't get left at the altar :-) even if you did disagree with me that she deserved it for being such a brat. Since they are your characters, you are right, of course. You do such an excellent job at writing about the romance of Kieran and Robin that I can forgive you for being mean and telling me to Google it when I asked you a question the other day.
-
Great Story. I love your writing. There is action, violence, and intrigue in your stories but in the midst of all of that there is such a tenderness that you portray with the feelings and interactions between your characters that balances all of the action and makes your stories so wonderful.

Two Thousand Light Years From Home
JimP commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Two Thousand Light Years From Home
Terrific! The Kieran and Robin interactions are just perfect. You are making them both such interesting characters. As bad as it is to wish ill on anyone, I really hope that the devil bride gets left at the altar. -
Loved It. Zach, getting the ass. coach. Excellent! All of the chapter that dealt with Will and Zach was super. I really enjoy how you are developing their relationship and how healthy it has become. Also, it is great getting to know JJ more too. Still don't trust and cannot stand Alex but if we loved all of the characters then the story wouldn't be nearly as interesting.

And another great chapter. The plot is building now. I bet you will have some interesting things coming in the next few chapters. There sure is a lot of jealously and, what do I want to say, back-biting among the people in this store.

I don't read stories until they are finished. I don't read stories until they are finished, well, with a few exceptions. And this morning, I just had to take a peek at this one to see how good it was gonna be. After all, it was written by Sasha Distan and I love everything that Sasha writes. Now, a couple of hours later, I have devoured the 13 posted chapters, loved every one of them, and sit anxiously awaiting the next installment.

You know it is a great Friday and going to be a great weekend when you awake in the morning to a new chapter of Streak and a new chapter of HMS Valiant. So, Lord Elgin isn't the idiot that we thought he was. That is great! It will be interesting to see how they manage the good Lady for the rest of the voyage. Another wonderful chapter.

You know it is a great Friday and going to be a great weekend when you awake in the morning to a new chapter of Streak and a new chapter of HMS Valiant. This was an excellent chapter of streak. All Will and Zach loving each other. That s good, heart-warming stuff. As always, thanks Mark for your writing.

Another great chapter. As always, you leave me thinking that it was too short, and I want more! I guess that is the sign of an accomplished writer. Peterson seems jealous. Wonder if he has a thing for Roy or a history with him?

Another great chapter! I am really liking the snippets that we are getting of Justin. The way you are writing him, he seems to be an older and wiser sole than his teenage years but yet he still has some of the youthfulness with his uncontrolled temper flashes. Good Job. What is this about having to wait awhile for the next chapter? What do you have some sort of other life outside of writing... Geez. Thanks again for your work. Jim

Just finished reading the first book here and because it was so great, I read the chapters that are on your website for the 2nd book. It is an excellent and engaging story. It will be great to see what you do with it when the twins are born. Maybe the menacing vampire will be available for babysitting the 3 babies at night since he won't need a good night's sleep :-) It is tempting to tell you which of the characters is my favorite and the reasons but since you mentioned in your autobiographical section that several of the characters represent you at different periods of your life, it would be rude to, in essence, say that like you better in one period of your life than another. So, I will just say that I enjoy each of the characters. They are all well developed. Geez, these people do drink a lot though. They never open a bottle of wine. They always start with 4, 6 or 12 bottles. Anyway, it is a terrific story and you have a fan here! Jim

The talk between Wade and JP was really good. It was interesting to have the insight into Wade's thoughts. Brotherly Love- Will sacrificing his carnal pleasures for the sake of JJ. It was good to see that Will thought of JJ and stopped himself. Thinking positively, I hope that Will's surprise visit to Zach's game goes well!

Great chapter. Some deeper stuff and some humor in putting the homophobe Lonnie on the make-up counter. You really are an excellent writer.
-
The little tidbits you keep giving us into JJ's personality and character are interesting. He is slowly being revealed to us. Another great thing about this chapter is that it we had a whole chapter with no Alex in it. YAY!
-
Thanks for writing these great stories. I read the first book in the series yesterday and caught up in this one this morning and I really enjoyed both. To probably misquote Dickens, " Please sir, I want more!"

What was Cam's issue? Nice to see Darius making a contribution. It is good to learn more about JJ and read some things from his perspective.

In Chapter 4, during JJ's discussion with Alex, Alex mentioned about seeing JJ and Tiffany when he came for JJs event in Germany. That made me think. Maybe Mark is going to have Alex start a relationship with both JJ and Tiffany. The JJ could be his little princess and Tiffany could be his bit of rough. That would then give him Tiffany to show off to the family so they will think he is straight. Wonder how that would work with Tiffany being preggers? Just a thought. Who knows what Mark will actually write for those three. It is fun to speculate though.

HI Mark, Another great chapter. Matt and Wade and their new and improved relationship is really great. Brad and Cam enjoying each other is another good thing. And a chapter with almost no Alex in it. These all combine to make it a feel good chapter. But... that worries me too because I am sure you are about to write some major conflict and drama in there somewhere. Will it be with Matt and Wade, Brad and Cam, Will and Zach, JJ and yucky old Alex, or maybe even Tiffany and Alex? Which ones will be your victims? Love your writing! Thanks for it. Jim
-
Wonderful chapter. Love the way that you are building these characters. Chad and Roy are beginning to come together as complex and interesting people. More, more, more please.
-
Mark, Thank you for another great chapter. I thought that the way that you brought Brad and Cam together and had them discuss right up front the age difference, Matt and other potential pitfalls was great. Let's hope that Matt doesn't freak out when they get to Boston. I think that is only a remote possibility as he is with Wade and you have portrayed him as more mature in recent chapters. Also, the insight into Zach's thinking was terrific. As problematic as it is for a pro-football player to come out in 2014 it must have seemed much much worse to someone looking at that possibility in 2002. The way that he is trying to handle it by pretending to be a religious zealot and still loving Will must be taxing on him and must be extremely difficult for him. I hope that you share more from his perspective as he is becoming an interesting character. Jim
