There are more ways to deal with trauma than talk about feelings. Them being there and working hard at convincing him he matters could go a long way. Colt may try and keep things to himself, but they are wolves. They sniff stuff like that out. They too now how sensitive this fragility issue is with Colt, so they won't say anything. Just be there for him. Even Bradley seemed to know how to get through to him. And, yes, Galina is definitely a dude. Any woman I've seen look like that was actually a guy!

I don't think therapy is the way to go for Colt. That level of trust would be almost impossible to reach for a professional. I do however believe the pack sees right through him. Or at least have a pretty good idea about what he's going through. They have all been through various degrees of hell themselves. Brian has on more than one occasion shown he truly knows Colt. So while Colt might think he can keep his reactions to himself, the wolves know. It's not treating him like a kid. It's taking care of one of the most important person so in their lives.

It's so sweet that you have all waited for little old me... I'm sitting down to read now, so go wild! It wouldn't be fair for you to miss our on some wild ranting, just because of me.

I guess we all understand his actions, even if all do not believe them to be right. And I for one didn't read that as rape.

Ha, ha! The owl felt more Brian or Isaac. But they might give it as a gift for fun.

What? You don't think girls kick ass? Or are capable of violence? He seemed quite content having Prime check up on him.

I'm just projecting a little! Besides, Colt has gotten used to being the girl...

Since my Sunday schedule isn't conducive to my reading, I opt for silly. Another number for the Meta musical. Prime and CE in a lovely duet searching so desperately for their Meta... To widen the search, they go international!

A little Meta Christmas ornament!

Oh, I peaked anyway... So nice of you to wait for us sleepy heads on the other side of the pond!

murder Kissing The Dragon - Discussion Forum

I will be looking forward to the next book! Could it be about Martin...? He could use a little happiness (after an appropriate amount of drama of course. ). -
So many things to think about... I'll start with the subject closest to my heart, Love v. Scents. Prime has said he loves Colt now, when they are still getting pumped up by the roids, so I didn't get the feeling that we actually have answer to this question. I might have to read again. Still, if the wolves were 'released' from the scent addiction, they would have served their purpose and are free to leave if they chose. Depending on the state of the ongoing fight, the pack might need to replace any leaving wolves, just as they might need to replace a dead wolf. A wolf that has left should be free of any rules, since it's not needed to follow the purity rules or get roids. I don't see such a wolf staying in the pack. That would be very awkward, since Colt has such strong feelings for them all. I can offer you a naughty chapter of my 'bad' story...?

I just want more Isaac...

Yes please! But don't kill them!

Nice leverage, Tim! LOL

LOL, you do that too? Nag him about sleep? His caring ladies are getting out of hand! The female affliction is anything but reliable. Always shows up on the wrong time...

Waking up to hot hunks, a new prompt and a little fight. The night has been productive!

Chapter 19-Poetry prompt 4- Dangerous Game
Puppilull commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 19-Poetry prompt 4- Dangerous Game
So much strength and weakness in that poem. The last part really gripped me, having lived with my guy for over 20 years. Fidelity is hard. It's a choice you make and need to stick with. It's sad to see someone squander their happiness for a cheap thrill and then have to live with the consequences. Some things are just impossible to undo. -
Poetry prompt 9 - Sonnet
Puppilull commented on Puppilull's story chapter in Poetry prompt 9 - Sonnet
Maybe I was a bit hard on this particular poem... It did feel so easy to write that I figured it was simple, but now in hindsight I think perhaps it opened a door to feelings, true feelings, I had hidden away. Perhaps you reading it saw something I couldn't. I'm actually very pleased but a bit confused that you get a man-on-man feeling. I have been writing some of that in my ongoing prompt story and I constantly fear I will end up writing women in men's bodies. So to achieve that feel is a confidence boost. At the same time, the poem is about me and I'm no man... So that makes me wonder if I'm too influenced by hanging out here? Or is it my masculine side peaking out? Thank you so much for reading and giving me valuable feedback in your review. These challenges make me work and think in a different way. Very good change of perspective on my writing.
