Thanks! Lots of things are happening! I’m looking forward to understanding more about what dangers that await Travis as well as learning more about Preston, Marie’s grieving process, Jeremy’s education and whatever surprises lie ahead. Well done!

Families are what they are. There is not much to do about that except love them as best we can . Friends can be family. Will’s friends make an exceptional family! Now on to the next book. I’m so happy that there are more books!

I love the time shift and the subtitle revaluations as we are brought into the present. Book two begins! Pardon me for not commenting on each chapter, but know I will check in after the conclusion of chapter 21. Now I am off to a most enjoyable read! Thanks for posting on Gay Authors.

The beginning book is as delightful as I remembered it! It is so well done. The characters are well developed. Carter and his friends are people I want to know! Thanks for the excellent experience that only improves with time.

I look forward to the new books.

I probably won’t be adding comments to most chapters. I am truly thrilled to be reading your work again. I love Carter!

No worries, the eyes will be more than enough.

This is unnecessary drama caused by Brad trying to control things. An open discussion with Steph would have been enough to persuade Jeremy that there is a real need for a formal education. Jeremy can be a part time student while continuing his current fashion heavy lifestyle while taking classes that help give depth to his fashion career.

Crap I keep having this moisture problem! Not nearly as severe as 9/11, but still…. Thanks for another thoughtful, believable chapter!

Thanks for the chapter that allowed all of us to grieve for Jack!

Will was at his best. No doubt he will uphold the promise he made to Jack. But he must find a way to mend his relationship with Isidore before it begins to tear the family apart. A good start would be to find out what her underlying issues are! Thanks for the new chapter and the pivot point that Jack’s death is sure to bring.

Thanks for another great chapter. I got a late start reading but it gave me a chance to read a lot of thoughtful comments. Like many of your readers, I have read both of your series multiple times and each time I appreciate your talent more. Thank you for providing many hours of pleasurable reading!

It’s a Christmas to remember, Escorial style! Isadore definitely stepped over the line by not gifting Will. She could have done what my charming stepmonster once did and regift a present she received the previous Christmas! In the past Isadore has exhibited like behavior showing preference to Billy at Brad’s expense and more recently Will, inviting the boy who gave Will a thrashing as well as not inviting the person he had put on the list for the Bastille Day celebration. Personally I am willing to put most of my irritation with Jack aside, assuming he really wants to make amends to his horrible behavior. Midlife crisis or serious health issues is not a get out of jail card. Having a serious operation without giving a heads up to your children is a pretty selfish act. A death bed letter,no matter how heartfelt, is still a cowardly way to explain your bad behavior. Jeremy is doing a good job of interacting with the family. He stood by Will showing brotherly solidarity. With a little bit of thinking though the situation, he is able to emulate empathy. The boy deserves a Rolls! Marie will definitely get through hospital security to see her daddy. Thanks for another exciting chapter. So many possibilities lie ahead.

So does Guy Fellows link back to one of our known villains? Is Jack’s disappearance somehow related? Thinking about all of this is disturbing? Well done! Jeremy’s birthday was delightful. Will and Jeremy seemed to bond over the necklace. I am surprised that Will hasn’t already locked his compass necklace away. With Travis moving back to California, he and Will are going have to work to keep their relationship strong. They’ve done well so far, but now the commute is much longer and they will both have more commitments to juggle. Thanks for keeping up this impressive schedule. I am in awe!

Another twist! What will be next? As much as I look forward to that, I look forward to Jeremy’s birthday celebration and his ever growing sense of self worth as he bravely opens up and allows himself to trust his family and friends. His ability to overcome the traumas in his past has been a long hard fought journey. In many ways, his character is the most complex and well developed of his generation in the series. Thanks for the boost! This is stupendous!

Tangled webs ultimately have consequences! Time for justice as only Will and his family can initiate! Thank you and your twisty storylines for entertaining us all. Kudos!

What has Big done that he can be blackmailed about? Surely with his family background it must be illegal? Mere assholiness or errant sexual behavior would cause no concerns! Murder, manslaughter, treason? John could use some therapy to find a better way to deal with his anger. I think he should try to find his own therapist before dealing with Jack, who no doubt needs therapy even more than John. Thanks for the weekend reading! The California trip is living up to my expectations!

I loved the sex break chapter! Love spoken for Jeremy and Kris brings a new beginning for two emotionally stunted people and a chance to heal old wounds. That tender event was followed by an adventurous exploration of fisting featuring Will and Finn with a delightful assist by Travis. What an evening to remember. Kudos Mister Arbour! Now what about Big?
-
I think that the culprit trying to destroy Travis is outside the family. Travis must have or be in control of something that will become up for grabs upon his death. Big may have come across him/her while perusing his mining interests and fallen into the villain’s clutches. In any event, the tangled web is truly well spun! Thank you for the exercise and another delicious chapter that makes us crave more.

Thanks for a George chapter. I can live with a monthly update! Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Families can be complicated. Travis’ must win a prize! I can’t wait for the details. Thanks for another great chapter that requires more thought.

I love this epic trilogy! Seeing the Lion’s Pride being posted ignited my desire to reread from the beginning. Thank you for the opportunity. Forgive me if I don’t comment on each chapter, I truly appreciate your storytelling skills and your well drawn characters.

Finn That is what an Escorial Thanksgiving looks like! Not as memorable as Matt’s but it shifted relationships just the same. Jack finally went too far and will be feeling the consequences. Ryan damaged his relationship either both Marie and John. Claire has apologized and reconciled with Will. Marie is taking the initiative to finally find some closure with Austin. Will is getting fisting tutoring from Brad and Jake while the other men listen. Jeremy finds the conversation troubling though he tries to not show his distress. His better medication stabilized him enough that he can perhaps talk to Kris about it in private, though I don’t think he would be happy with Will fisting Finn in the condo. Thats for the dessert! The presentation was as always excellent!

What a nice warmup! So many opportunities to turn up the heat! Jack with Amber after her foray with John would be a hoot! Grandmaman is quiet so far, but can she keep her self righteousness in check? Thanks for the treat and yes the timing makes me yearn for George!

Thanks for the timely chapter. The stage is set, the people are shifting into place, and cold fronts and hot spots are in the forecast. Everyone is great on the surface. Amber is stirring up some hormones and chances are she will make a connection with Darius or maybe even Jack if he shows. The Thanksgiving chapter is just a week away unless it’s not! Anticipating a lovely meal!
