Mac’s mother seems to be coming around when it comes to the boys’ powers. Rafting seems to be a good if somewhat risky activity after a torrential rain. Thanks for the George fix. The rubies seemed to placate Caroline. George helped Daventry out of a difficult situation. Talleyrand and George discussed the effect of Cornwallis’s shortcomings in treaty negotiations. Stupidity in government is nothing new or surprising in the 1800’s anymore than it is now. In this world of course Chip has a backstory with Dillon after all it’s Oregon! Finn and Chip both seem like good friend material. Finn is smart and interesting and Chip can confirm what a lazy slob Dillon is. Will does need friends to hang with aside from casual fuck buddies. Travis and Will are living in different cities and both have busy lives so they both need available friends. Marie does need to take Will’s advice about distancing or she will have a bevy of stalkers and lovesick puppies following her around. Thanks for the weekend boost. This is me loving this chapter and eagerly awaiting Thanksgiving and the family drama at Escorial.

I think being snarky to his mother is standing up to her for her behavior and to encourage his father to do the same; however, the more adult approach would be to have a private conversation with his mother and address the reason he feels the need to make snarky comments. The skinwalker was a surprise. How is it locating Mac? Is there some connection? Is it a threat or is it curious or even in search of help? Thanks for the interesting chapter. Brad and Jeremy had a real conversation and resolved their major issues which is truly remarkable since neither of them is known for their communication skills. Will and Travis are making plans for Thanksgiving at Escorial. Considering the dinners there, they should be ready for drama and the challenge of proper voice modulation! Thor is a relationship disaster and will continue to be until he lets himself out of the closet. Will, Thor and Finn have some fancy dancing around if they are going to avoid hard feelings. Will Chip make it better or worse? And who is after Travis and more importantly WHY? Thanks for a fabulous Friday! I am so glad to see family healing and I feel that Brad initiating the apology was spot on. He finally was able to verbalize his feelings and explain his actions and lack of engagement. Clint seems to be looking for a gay friend and I am certain that he is fascinated to meet an established gay couple. It seems to be a combination of hero worship and validation that gay people exist successfully in society along with raging teenage hormones. Mike and Devin will make be great examples. What a good trip! It overflows with of nostalgia. The music memories were particularly delightful. I’ve found that music is not exactly generational in that the availability of all types of music online, on satellite radio, touring bands from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and musically centered movies. There are no doubt exceptions. One of my daughter’s friends once asked: Is it true that Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings?

All is going smoothly for now as yet another merger presents itself. The children are developing and showing early signs of carrying on in the family traditions. I think Marc and Adam will be able to face any challenges that the universe presents and as the corporation and the Five Sectors grow and prosper, more forward thinking corporations and bright people will want to become part of the Alexander-Knight empire. I think Will and Jeremy are finally back to being brothers. I also believe Will’s advice to Brad is spot on. Brad has never been able to have a real relationship with Jeremy.He has always been the authority figure telling Jeremy what to do with threats of financial retaliation. Brad must find his own way to forgive Jeremy and to establish a relationship that goes beyond a preadolescent because I said so, and that will be possible if Jeremy has changed. Travis and Brad and Jake had clarifying moments and saved a bed for Will! JP is coming! What about the Serbians? There is lots to feel good about. But mostly I am impressed by Jeremy’s transformation. Great writing, I truly believe that it is real!

Great story with tantalizing clues to what may lie ahead ! I am looking forward to the revelations.

One and done! Marc has done it again, but this time with minimal casualties. Not only did he merge the attacking corporation into the Alexander-Knight corporation, but he showcased his newly developed defensive shields for the CONFED Navy. This bound to deter any further assaults. Marc does not take threats to his family lightly! Everyone seems to want babies. The family and extended families are growing. What will be next?

One corporation with a new CEO is planning an attack on the Alexander-Knight House and the Five Sectors? Marc and Adam have become quite powerful. Perhaps a consortium is hoping to take them down, but surely the must remember what Marc is capable of if his family is threatened! Thanks for the exciting turn of events! Wow, a bolt hole. Secrets and criminal behavior! Marc has done his best to free the slave labor force, including giving them the technology to reproduce. I think My Lord is not too far off the mark when it addresses either Marc or Adam.illegal Two children and two more on the way! The family grows in number and in strength and standing! Great storytelling! Who has been messing with illegal reproduction and altering human genes to create a slave work force? Is it some known force?

Jeremy hasn’t changed so much as he is thinking before he speaks or acts out, so he is presenting a more empathetic front. That outer change is enough for Will to forgive Jeremy while never forgetting his past behavior. Jeremy has a narcissistic personality so he will always put himself first, but he has learned that he must not lash out at his family if he is to maintain their support. Thor and Finn seem like a good match. The Serbian mafia! Who would have those connections? Travis does have some enemies, but neither his family or the acting community are likely to have access. Is there a bigger problem that involves the core family? Thanks for the great chapter!

Zain and Hadrian play well off each other, with arrogance and self confidence as major character traits in both! Maybe Hadrian has met his match? Ouray and Fluer need to recover their balance if they are going to be useful in deterring the upcoming onslaught. These are strong people who need to become a team and if Zain is to be part of the team they must earn his trust. Without history, communication is required and questions must be answered! I’m on to the next chapter and hope to see more interaction between these four and for information sharing. The sheriff,Carolyn’s murder, land that cancels magic! Really, these people need to talk and soon because the danger is imminent! I am loving the growing tension as the story continues to evolve!

Zain will be adrift in a different world without his memory. Is that really the best solution for his protection? I look forward to the reactions from our little group. These elements are most intriguing!

Devin and Mac are enjoying their time with Mac’s parents and are looking forward to the trip before returning to school, but Devin will not be happy until the metal plate is removed and he is able to transmute into small animals. I hope it will be as easy as he thinks to get the doctor to remove it. What a wonderful beginning for the third book! Let the adventure continue!
