Obstacles are one of the constants of life, aren't they? Thank you for your review and support, Lyssa

    Chapter 8

Chapter 8 Saturday found Liam laid out on his living room floor trying to finish the home exercises Corey had assigned. He was relieved to find the workout got a little easier each time he did it, and knew from experience this meant his therapist would soon be increasing the intensity. Just as he decided to take a break, there was a knock at his door. “One minute,” he called out, rolling over and onto his feet. Opening the door, he grinned widely, seeing Bryce standing in the hall with
  3. It's wonderful that Patrick finally has a family member he might be able to rely on. Fiona sounds like a lovely and accepting young woman. I really hope that the other two cousins Fiona spoke of will also be good people. You can't have enough friends, or loving family, and Patrick has been isolated for far too long. I really enjoyed the coming home scene. Although it wasn't a big portion of the chapter, it was wonderful to see Patrick having someone who loves him welcoming him home.

    Chapter 18

I really enjoyed writing the scene with Drew. He's been close to both Jason and Corey and he had to be thrilled to finally have two of his favourite people not only getting along, but actually together, and happy. Thank you for another great review, Val

    Chapter 7

Thank you, Gary It's great to see Alek has a supporter or two in his corner. I've never seen him as a bad guy, just someone who's made some decisions that many might not agree with or quite understand. Elena is a loving and protective sister, and wants her brother to be happy. Thank you for your review and support, my friend

    Chapter 7

I think he'll be a better partner for this as well. He needs to be happy with himself, and going back to school is a great start

    Chapter 7

I think the people who don''t like Alek are so against him because they're worried about Liam. Worry can make people's reactions even more prominent. Thank you for your review and support hoho

Does Elena know something we don't? Good question Thank you for your review and support, B

    Chapter 7

I like the idea that Alek will learn not to underestimate Liam. I believe he has been complacent in the past, and IF he's allowed back, this whole experience will show that Liam is going to stand up for what's best for him now. Its also a good lesson for Liam to learn about himself. Thank you for your review and support, Def

Thank you, Dugh I agree, Liam needs to do something just for himself

    Chapter 7

I didn't really delve into the cousin's story much in this chapter, but one thing to remember is Alek and his sisters were fairly young, and the cousin lived in Russia. It would have been difficult to try to reach him at the time the blow-up happened, and then he left Russia to parts unknown. Thank you for your review and support, Tim

    Chapter 7

I think it's good for Liam to do something solely for himself, that has nothing to do with Alek, or anyone else for that matter. Regardless of what happens in his love life he is doing this for his own good. Thank you for your review and support, Puppi

    Epilogue

Thank you, Val! I was really proud of this
  15. Honestly, I feel really bad for Kellar. It's a lot of responsibility being a healer, and now he also has to embrace the fact that other wolves see him as a savior. That's a HUGE weight on his shoulders. He knows he's becoming a better healer with every new patient, but I can't see him ever viewing himself as anything other-worldly. I can understand why he might feel the need to step back and step away, for even a little while. The fact that he embraced the role, even a little, at the pack meeting, was a major step for him. I'm really enjoying Arthur's character. He's sassy I think he and Sybil are going to be a fun match. I can see the two of them being refreshingly honest, especially when Sybil's seer abilities start to come back. The Vega pack has a difficult decision to make. it's not easy to leave the only home you've ever know.. a place where you've buried those you love. In the end, though, I think they'll realize that Vega is just a place (a place they can return to at some point) but leaving for Morningstar will ultimately strengthen everyone. Great chapter, Gary. Waiting to see if Arthur makes a run for it next week

    Chapter 9

Sometimes the biggest obstacle to a relationship are the people involved. Sometimes they can get past it, sometimes they just can't get over the past. Thank you for another great review and your support, Val

I agree on both fronts. Jason has grown up a lot, and Corey's dad has done nothing to indicate that he's changed or deserves forgiveness. Thank you for your review and support, Val

  20. This one should have come with a warning label. I read it during my break at work and cried It was a beautiful story of healing and moving on, Gary. I don't what it's like to lose your spouse (and hope I won't know for many, many years), but Maurice suffered through the loss, grieved and now seems to be ready to shed the weight of his loss and move on. I'm really happy David had the courage to approach him. Even if they never progress past friendship, Maurice has taken those first scary steps towards living his life without Eric. Beautifully written, my friend.

    Chapter 7

It would be a hard decision, even as an adult, to do something that would have your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc., cut you out of you life. I can't imagine that being an easy choice for many people. At this point, we're not sure what Alek has decided to do. Thank you for your review and support, jaysalmn

lol should I apologize for messing with your predictive skills? What I was aiming for with this story is that not every decision is easy, or black and white. I hope I've succeeded. Thank you for your review and support, Spikey

    Chapter 7

It does my author's heart good to hear that you're being swept into the story this way. Nothing makes me happier than having people invested in my characters. As for 'almost perfect'? Liam is realistic enough to know that even if he wants to be over Alek, he's not yet. He has a ways to go before he has truly moved on. Thank you for your review and support, Parker
