Top notch character driven romance. The intro seemed to imply a story riddled with angst. Therefore, it was not a first choice read.  I'm certainly glad I did read it. The main characters had some growing to do and that growth was deftly written. This story leaves you with a nice gushy feeling that love and reason can conquer. The final conflict was expected, but several opportunities were passed up. It allows the anticipation to build to a palpable level. I remember thinking 'Ah, a major bump in the road is in this next chapter'. I  thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

From the first paragraph, this human drama hooks you. You'll find yourself deeply immersed in these character's lives, looking at the world through their eyes, and feeling what they feel. There is a tumultuous journey here, but it is a rewarding one. In real life, people grow and evolve, and that's what you see here. There is nary a false note as we follow Corey and the rest of the characters. Join all the others who were captivated by this author's brilliant offering... you will not be disappointed, I promise.
