Thank you, sweetion86. It was great to hear from you

    Chapter 25

I have tried to keep most chapters pretty light. I didn't want to write a dark drama, but I did want to insert some real life into the characters. I'm very pleased that seems to have translated to the readers. Over the course of the story both characters have grown and matured... I want people to think of them as people you might actually meet in real life... flawed, but generally happy without too much self-inflicted drama. Thank you for your review and your support, Spikey

    Chapter 25

Sometimes we're not ready for something, and it takes time to be ready... even if its something good. These two weren't ready back then, but they are very ready now, and both men want to give this everything they have. Thank you for your review and your support, Def

    Chapter 25

I think Jason has always held Corey in higher regard than most other people in his life. In his head Corey was not touchable. To him, Corey was pure and good, and he didn't want to mess that up. and yes, he is very ready for the kind of guy Corey is now... and Corey seems to be ready for him as well. Thank you for another great review and all of your support, Gary.

    Chapter 25

Corey's therapy does seem to be doing him wonders. At least he seems to be able to separate his father's actions from Jason's a little better. Thank you for your review and your support, Parker

    Chapter 25

Thank you, Lux! Happy is good with these two
  8. Sometimes you need a caring parent to tell you everything is all right, even when you're an adult. The conversation with Elinor was great. I like seeing Kellar more sure of himself and his abilities. I think only a few weeks ago Kellar wouldn't have interjected his opinion on 'pack business'. His relationship with Tobyn seems to have added to his increasing confidence. He has always been brave, hell he left his foster parents when he was only 16(?), but being comfortable in his place in the world was something that seemed to be missing. Oh and I think "dinner alone" might have become code for these two. I'm looking forward to next Monday and perhaps hearing what Adelin has to say about her potential earth mate. I wonder how Tilly will feel about this? She is the older sister and hasn't met hers yet.

    Lonely

X really got to me, because I grew up Catholic and have questioned my faith for years. Throughout each poem there was an undercurrent (and sometimes a tidal wave) of loneliness and pain. I hope that the years since you've written these have brought you some happiness.
  10. I liked this for the poetry itself and not the content. I can't like something when I know it means my friend is hurting

    Chapter 25

Chapter 25 "Move in with me.” Corey knew he’d shocked his boyfriend when the man's wide blue eyes met his. "Are you serious?" "I'm very serious.” They’d been dating for months now and spent as much time at each other's houses as their own. To Corey, this seemed like a natural progression. "We practically live together now; we just pay for two different places." “Are you sure you're ready for this? It’s a huge step.” Jason’s expression had turned from surprised to concerned. "I’ve w

    Chapter 24

Haha so we can say the chapter is promoting cleanliness with the cold showers? No, Alek has never lied to Liam. Liam walked into this relationship with his eyes wide open, and a lot of optimism. Alek's hope is that he can have Liam and keep his current work and family situation separate. Eventually though Liam is going to tire of being a secret. Will Alek be prepared or willing to come out of the closet when that time comes? Thank you for your review and your support, spikey

    Chapter 24

Is it good that you were distracted? I'm happy people seem to enjoy reading about the lunch as much as I had writing about it. I'm disappointied for Alek too. He wants to be happy and seems think Liam can make him happy, but his choices might make him lose Li. Maybe one day people won't have to feel like they need to hide who they are any more, but it'll be a long, tough road for many.

    Chapter 24

haha the inspiration for that scene was actually from a movie I'd seen before (and a conversation with friends about honey and melty things ) Liam and Alek do have a tough road ahead. I guess they have to decide if it's worth it or if things can change. Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

    Chapter 24

If he's lucky Liam will be around but right now it's a risk he feels like he needs to take. Thank you for your review and all of your support, tim.
  16. I really hope warren ends up deserving the faith that Kellar is putting in him. I think T and K are smart to meet Warren at the train instead of taking him to the pack right now. If it turns out he's still unstable and on drugs then it would be painful for Adelin to meet him and maybe have to walk away. It's wonderful to see Elinor so happy with her mate and if it works out, Warren might have a place in the pack, besides being Adelin's mate. I think he'll need that in order to gain some self respect again. I guess I'll have to be patient and wait another week until we see Kellar's foster brother again
  17. Self-doubt is an insidious thing. It can creep into the recesses of your mind and set up camp there. I know, because I have the little voice inside of me that tells me I'm not good enough and what I write doesn't compare to the wonderful work I see other people put out. Just remember that no one is a harsher critic than ourselves, and we don't tend to be nice or constructive in our criticism of our own work. You are much better than that little voice will lead you to believe. Have faith in that.
  18. When the writing bug hits you, it hits hard, doesn't it? I know it took you a long time (and some convincing from a good friend) to finally take the leap and put your stories and characters out there. I, for one, and grateful that you found your calling

    Chapter 24

Sadly it isn't uncommon. I've seen similar things happen once or twice, and the people involved rarely feel like they have a lot of options. I don't think Alek wants to hurt Liam, but he does want some happiness for himself, even if he can't acknowledge it. Thank you for another great review and all of your support, Gary.

    Chapter 24

Chapter 24 Jason stifled a laugh as he watched Corey hurry past him to check on dinner, again. “Babe,” he said as he reached out and grabbed the agitated brunette’s wrist. “Everything is going to be great. The food smells delicious and the house has been cleaned to within an inch of its life.” He placed a kiss on Corey’s nose. “Relax.” “This is really important to Liam.” Corey chewed on his lip, with his eyes darting around the room, probably making sure he hadn’t overlooked anything
  24. Whenever I'm in a drive thru line (coffee shop, fast food place) in front of an ambulance I ask to pay for their order. It's not much, but I want to show how much I appreciate them being out there. I also have some wonderful co-workers who pitch in to help each other when work becomes overwhelming.
  25. Wonderful interview, Cia, and a great story. I loved Joel from the beginning and he became even more endearing as the story continued. How could you not love a big hunky hockey player with a huge heart? Do I need to mention the man took care of his grandfather??? I highly recommend the story to anyone who hasn't had the chance to read it yet.
