Like Gary, I am really proud of Linda for sticking to her convictions with Bobby, That boy is realizing what he lost, but with the seniors going away to college soon, he will likely be too late. I admire loyalty, but I'm not sure if this kid deserves such blind loyalty. The Pizza Hut scene was really nice. The boys got to hang out and relax with each other in a public setting... and they made a new friend. Greg still wants to fix the world, by helping one boy at a time to accept themselves, and that is great. At least he is talking to them and making friends face to face, instead of the clandestine phone calls. I think it will be great to have them all go to the drive in together, with Bill invited along.

Sometimes all it takes is one beautiful soul to make a difference in your life. It sounds like Isabella sparked your love of poetry. This was a lovely tribute to her, Tim. I think she might have blushed, but would have been pleased to know your love of poetry and writing has continued after all of these years.

Such a great chapter! It was good to see the twins bonding, but it was also wonderful to see more of Chris and Jacob as brothers in law. Chris obviously loved Evan beyond measure and is confident enough to be ok with sharing his engagement party and living with Jacob and Russ and Jacob is the same (but with Russel). These men just want to see their guys happy. I continue to marvel at how much Russ has grown since he met Jacob. He is slowly becoming more confident and comfortable in his own skin. The morning with Russ and Jacob was (fanning myself). Soooo cheep, cheep... just waiting for the next chapter now

Yes, it was pretty intense. I hope your questions about Kel will be answered in the next few chapters. I think it would be a horrible was to "exist" too. Audra and the redhead? I can't really say much about Kel or the treatments without risking spoilers of upcoming chapters, but I will say there will be some answers to your questions. How often to governments claim to have control over dissidents? I think that might be the case here. These groups don't get where they are by being easy to control. We'll see what, if anything, happens when the Jenson's group gets to the planet. As I've mentioned to other reviewers, you will learn more about Kel and his history in the coming chapters. Chapter 10 Merrick jogged up to Aanse and Kalen with a smirk on his lips. That went better than he could have hoped for. He was getting to the stubborn vampire. They needed to talk… and soon. He wanted an explanation as to why the man kept running from him. It was obvious Jenson wanted him, and although his age was an issue, it didn’t seem to be the only problem. There was something else going on with the infuriatingly skittish man. They ran for several laps, going off the main track

Poor Noel. It seems like every time someone opens their mouth to tell him something, it's a new piece of information that could send him into a tailspin. Honestly Diarmid should just sit the poor boy down and tell him everything, at once. I think Noel will come back, but any more secrets that come out without Diarmid telling him beforehand might send him running out of the house and into danger.

I love Nate's POV. I'm really happy they are going to try to listen to M's advice and take their time to become friends first. Now that may go out the window at some point when hormones start to surge, but for now they want to nurture the friendship. It's sad that Bodie can relate to the scar. It doesn't really surprise me though. Not many people who didn't share the experience would even realize what the scar actually meant. M & K are great for staying longer for Nate. He needs them right now. His grandparents are wonderful, but he has latched on to his uncles for support, and he needed them there. I hope the nightmares start to subside for him, but I can't really see it happening until he is around his dad again, and sees a real change in him. I think part of Nate doesn't quite believe it yet. This was another wonderful chapter, Gary.
