This was a wonderful story. Great pacing and fully developed characters kept me reading well past my bedtime. I was very interested in how the Were bears came to be and how they interacted with other were creatures. The parallels between the fundies in the story and those in our world today were a little too close for comfort and that added to the tension Grumpy Bear skillfully created during the conflict part of the story. I highly recommend this story.

I needed a feel good story today and I'm happy to say this one absolutely fit the bill. The characters are endearing and the situations real and the story is engaging. It will be one of my 'go to' rereads.

Another winner! And no, it wasn't too dark. Life gets messy, and then we try to clean it up. As usual, I wouldn't mind hearing more about this couple but I feel this story is complete and I'd rather just dream about what is to come for the boys and their friends.

I love this story. Just when I thought I had things figured out Gary threw a curve or two and kept me right on the edge of my seat. I laughed, cried, shook my fist, and ultimately stayed up way past my bedtime because I couldn't quit reading. The characters share real emotions and I found it easy to connect with the story through their triumphs and tribulations. If you're in the mood for a fresh take on shifters this is the story for you.

I must admit I had a tear of happiness in my eye when this story came to an end. I wish they would reveal more of their story to you but if not, I'll definitely return when I need a 'pick me up'.
