Hey, Doha! Thank you! A real cracker... cool. Reid is putting Lucas first, as he should, and we see him in a different light in this chapter. Maybe he is sad about something other than Lucas getting shot... it sure does seem like it. I like the respect and compassion he is showing Jubal. It helps Jubal not feel so alone. Dinah is a fabulous mare, and so is this new one Jubal has started to bond. In some ways, writing about these horses has helped me deal with my own loss. The timing could have been bad, but I choose to see it as good. Thanks for sharaing your thoughts and letting me know you are loving the story, my friend. Bearpaw Monday is getting close.
