    Lol. Maybe she is having her fun? Could be, but the thing she does give her shifters is free will. This is something Vega has to come to agreement on, but she can influence them through the boys. I think Kellar and Tobyn brought Logan over to their side in their talk to Logan.

    In rereading this chapter I got excited for everyone in Vega pack. What Kellar and Tobyn have accomplished since first meeting is incredible. Now they all need to come together for the good of all. Shifters are good people... they should not be going extinct, and it is a shame they have to hide from humans. Thanks, my dear friend.

    Yup, a cliffie. There is too much to the painting for it to be a coincidence, right? Warren's affect is showing itself here with the copper saving two men and taking out a hunter. That will reinforce the belief the Vega members need to have... and the hope. Thanks, buddy.

    This chapter contains one of those moments I couldn't wait to get to. We'll soon see what that painting is about, and why it appears to have Kellar's wolf on it. Alpha Stanley is a great character, an Aloha who puts his pack before ego. Glad you saw the hope here.

    I mentioned before that I worried the healings would be or become boring for the reader, but the reaction to this chapter showed me otherwise. The healing of Logan is not just a medical thing... it also shows the change in Kellar's abilities, and the incredible connection he and Tobyn now share. Each time Kellar heals a shifter, he is pushing back the malaise, not allowing the numbers to fall. This really is the heart of the story, that Kellar has these gifts that can save packs. I think we were all invested in this particular healing because of what it will mean to Tilly as well. I'm so glad you feel the way you do about this story. You have never lost interest in it, and neither has the author.

    I have that fear too, Adi, and I'm sorry you have yours. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's but it hadn't progressed too far before cancer took her. Still, I am haunted by that vacant look that had begun to appear. We all deserve our memories, and I hope someday this mental scourge is defeated. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts. I have written a lot of Haiku lately, and I love when readers tell me their favorites. Take care, my friend. G.

    Good summation of this chapter, buddy. It's going to be a challenge for the boys in more ways than one, but they aren't ones to back away. For some reason it was kind of hard to write Logan as an insane wolf. Not enjoyable at all. Still, I love this chapter and appreciate the great comment.

    Thanks, Terry. My memories are priceless to me, and I'm glad you understood the value they have for us, particularly as we age. The fact you walked around your home after reading this poetry means a lot to me. I think I already told you I enjoy writing Haiku. There can be beauty in simplicity. And yes, the kittens seem to be doing well from the sounds they make. Cheers!

    I have a number of things I paid very good money for, but they aren't the most valuable things I have. I think it takes a while to learn that... at least it did for me.     Oh, I loved that part you quoted too, Albert. Kellar has a family, and if anyone deserves it, he does. Wolf speak should turn out to be a blessing. We'll see.... I actually read these last two chapters last night, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. This is fun.

    Lol. I wouldn't be eating any fish from that lake for a while... Reznick flavored trout... ugh. What I liked though, was how Hugh and everyone came together to handle the aftermath of the situation. It shows how the pack works. No one shirks from responsibility. It was touch and go, and the joining obviously helped make them stronger, but yeah, Warren might have saved the day. Still, my money was on Kellar and Tobyn to get out of that mess. And now it appears the joining might have given them something else. Thanks, Buddy.

    Lawns are mowed... for the third time already. Not much coughing, but there is lung pain when I breath deep or twist. Warning that I should not overdo it yet.

    Oh gee... that is so nice of you to say. I must say I got wrapped up in their joining once again, and I don't think there is anything I would change. There is such beauty in the act of love, and I agree, the colors made this act so much more special. When Kellar had tears, so did I. Thank you, dear friend.

    Absolutely... they finally have a defense in copper. Yet, hunters are formidable, and experienced, so no one can let their guard down. Glad you like the visits with Miss Sybil. Kellar learned what he needed to about their new defense... and it explains why the old Reznick hadn't sensed Tobyn's presence when Kellar was caught in the trap. They have all the answers. Yes, much still to be done, and they will need any help the earth mother can give them.

    Working the silver-copper thing out in my head is something I am very proud of. I put so much thought into this shifter world, and the pieces all slowly fit into place in my mind. It wasn't instantaneous, and there was a lot of time spent working through possibilities, but in the end I got there. Yes, Warren is a true hero for the pack. He has given shifters more reason for hope after years of being stymied by hunters. This is his chapter.

    I've never said this before, but I had someone in mind when I wrote Warren in this chapter. He was a great guy who took a wrong path, and when he got clean he would fall all over himself to please everyone. As far as I know he is still clean. Warren knows the chance he has been given, and he won't screw it up. He's been through a lot, but that connection to his earth mate will keep him strong. The earth mother knows what she's doing.

    One of my very favorite chapters. It seemed like it took forever to get to this point in the story. Warren is a revelation, and I was so looking forward to the reactions to him. Yes, my friend, all is good with the world. Thank you.
