    Thank you very much, Paul, for taking the time to read and leave such a nice comment. I've had a terrible cold for weeks now, and I've spent a lot of time looking around my house, inside and out. I finally had a nice walk in the woods. It was short because of coughing, but it was rewarding for me and my patient dog.

    Thank you so much. The joining is so integral to the story, but I also want it to be felt as something beautiful and, yes, romantic. So glad you liked the interlude at Eagle's Nest.

    There is no way Tobyn would let Kellar give up his cabin, not after hearing how he felt. Glad you appreciated that, Albert. And yeah, it's awesome that Miss Sybil is regaining her power, even if it is in small doses. Those visions were quite accurate. I think we all needed to know Denver's story, and it brought all of them closer. Osanna was avenged by his new son, and I'm sure that means a lot to him. Thanks for the kind words, buddy.

    Yes, it would not be wise to keep something from Adelin. Her and Tilly are not to be trifled with. I loved how Elinor and Kellar interacted in this chapter. He was determined, but she reminded him it was her decision to let them search. She's a good leader. Thank you, kind sir.

    I love how Tobyn and Kellar make each other better people. The beginning scene shows this perfectly, I think. Elinor is happier than she has ever been, but yeah, Mom's have it tough. Thanks, buddy.

    Still bluefish coughing, and I am sick of it. Eyes are watering now, but not too bad yet. Colds suck!

    There is so much to this chapter. Hunters prove to be formidable in unexpected ways, and Kellar is seeing first hand how tough it is to face or escape them. I think it was eye opening for all of us. I remember being impatient to get to this chapter... and reintroduce a different version of Warren. Of course that episode where he saw his brother shift would have profoundly affected him. Obviously it pushed him further down a path he was already on, and that is surprisingly sad. I knew when we left him urine soaked in the driveway that we would be seeing him again, so we'll see how it goes. Being Adelin's earth mate has put Kellar in a difficult position... hence this very important brother interview. Thanks for this, Albert.

    Oh, did I tell you all there are four new kittens in the bottom of the barn wall. I had to climb a ladder and reach my phone in to take a photo. Two are mostly white and two are grey.

    Hello, all. My son is happy. He got his weights delivered for his new squat machine. They came on a skid in a wooden box I've decided to use as a planter.

    I would love to see that color dance. To be honest, I kind of can... I could see it as I wrote it... in fact, I could see the colors from the first time Kellar saw them. It's a part of writing that I most enjoy, being able to visualize what I create. This first lovemaking had to be special, and the boys really helped me there. Knowing them as I do was the reason this scene worked, and I thank you for the kind words.
