  1. What Arron said.
  2. Thrice? Wow, what an encouraging thing to hear, considering you are so prolific... and busy. I have a new western beginning to flourish in my brain. My shoulder injury happened during a home renovation, which meant I had to finish up with only one good arm. Fortunately(?), it was my right shoulder, and I am left-handed. I also had help from my kids, mostly my diminutive daughter who always pitches in and loves to learn. Yeah, trying different genres was scary, but as I said in my responses, writing is writing. I have no doubt you would be a huge success at shifter stories or anything else. I actually have a sci-fi story partly written, but other stuff ended up getting in the way. Uhuh, we'll see. Thanks for checking this feature out and responding. Very kind of you. G.
  3. Thank you so much, kbois! Cheers!
  4. Thanks, Chris! Whoever came up with the questions did great job of making me think.
  5. Thank you, Thirdly! Glad you liked it, and I look forward to that day you tackle my stuff. You're the kind of reader I enjoy hearing from. The more input the better. I agree breaks from writing can have a positive effect on writing, and on life as well. Cheers and much thanks for taking the time to read and comment. Gary
  6. Thanks, Terry! Even harder than choosing favorite stories was choosing favorite characters. I actually felt bad for not including characters like Chet and Arron from "Song and Dance", Chester, Wiley, Cooper, Jimmy Dean, Drake, Blake, Rory, Clint... etcetera, etcetera, etcetera! I understand about "Endings". It wasn't just a challenge for me, but also a challenge for some readers. For me, it is an intense but beautiful human drama, with aspects many of us can relate too. It still shocks me, though, how much incredible response there was to that story. Cheers!
  7. @astone2292 Thanks, Aaron! You are very kind, and not too bad yourself. I can assure you I am not a horse, but I know how to think like one, and can do a pretty good whinny. Seriously, this was fun, and I encourage others to do what they can to support Aaron's wonderful efforts with this feature. Cheers!
  8. Just got in from my walk in the woods with Cookie. I think it is too cold to do my 3-4 K walk down the road. Doing well, I think, clo. Trying to warm up my hands. How are you?
  9. Happy Wednesday, all!
  10. I was the same way. It was tragic, but done so beautifully. In my opinion, that episode was a masterpiece.
  11. Thanks, Terry! I'd forgotten about doing this, but it was fun. Here is the link to AAA if anyone is interested in my longwinded answers to some great questions.
  12. So... just like Putin.

    Restless

No worries. I always enjoyed reading the genre, but never thought I would ever write a shifter story. Boy was I wrong, and now Morningstar is the story I am most proud of.
  14. Thank you so much for letting me know what you thought, Straycat. As a writer who truly cares about his characters, it was important to me to get this chapter right... to have readers feel the sublime emotions of a joining. I admit I was nervous about this scene, but I felt the same awe you did when Tobyn witnessed the color dance, and that settled me down. You're right that they should be even stronger after this. Glad you are enjoying the story so far, and I hope you will be so kind as to click the thumb/like button on the front story page. Cheers! Gary....
  15. Binged both seasons of White Lotus. It is very funny, creepy, and well done.
  16. Had another walk, this time in the woods with Cookie. I am worn out. Is anyone watching The Last of Us, because episode three was incredible. I cried through most of it. 😂
  17. Size of a pea, so small enough one of those big flies could carry it.
  18. Just got back from my walk. I had to wear a mask because the air is too cold to breathe in. Bright and sunny out though.
  19. Happy Tuesday, all!
  20. And Bobby Hull, The Golden Jet died as well. I loved Laverne and Shirley.
  21. Oh, I remember him. That's sad.
  22. Getting colder here. Happy Monday, all!
