Aw, so sorry, Albert. You must be heartbroken, but you were lucky to have her as long as you did. Try to have a good Christmas and remember her life as you do. Much love, my dear friend. We are here for you.
Hello everyone, and good night, Terry.
My entry is finished! My shelf looks awesome, and the hooks do too. There are six coat hooks up high and three down low for the grandkids. Just brought my mare in because the wind is unbelievable. Hopefully she won't lay down inside... her arthritis is pretty bad.
I have to hang curtains in the new spare room, but I can do that tomorrow. I will be cutting turnips and carrots tomorrow too... and cleaning up... I have tools everywhere.
I'm done for the day. Made a bed frame for the new mattress. It looks great, and now I have another room for the kids and grandkids to stay in. It used to be the weight room and gym. Still has the elliptical in there but there's plenty of room. The treadmill is going downstairs after the new floor is poured and covered in laminate. *tired sigh*
A lot of people wearing masks while I was shopping today, me included. Got all the way home and realized I didn't have the coat hooks I paid for. Called the store and they said, yes, they were there. The girl let me walk out without them, and thought I would come back in when I realized I'd left a bag. It's Christmas, so I couldn't call her an idiot. I was in the parking lot for at least five minutes loading up bags of gravel and sand. Arghhhh.
It's going to be a rough three days up to Christmas here (including Christmas day) with cold temps and lots of snow. I hope it won't keep the kids from getting here.
