  2. Minding him would be like herding fleas.
  3. You have your blanket.
  4. Happy Wednesday/Thursday, all. A couple of inches of snow on the ground.

  16. Hey, all! Had a busy morning answering some wonderful story comments.
  17. I appreciate that, and I loved your review. This is a special story to me, being my first multi chapter western. It allowed me to revisit some of my childhood entertainment, and write the kind of story I wish I could have seen or read back then. If you need a god ol' western, maybe give the sequel a try. Or revisit... I often revisit stories. Thanks for taking the time to support this, my friend. It means a lot, since I know writing keeps you very busy. Cheers... Gary....
  18. It would appear I am contributing to the cleanliness of the world. Glad you liked it, Aaron. These scenes can be hard to get right. Cheers! G.
  19. Hear, hear. Phineas Lemon was my representation of the corrupt bureaucrats who took advantage of good folk. Indian agents, for example, were notorious for stealing and selling supplies meant for Indians. A man had to be smart in his dealings with others. People like old man Corker could be trusted, but if your gut told you otherwise, it paid to listen to it. Thanks, Aaron. Cheers!
