No energy today. I have a lot to get done, but I think I need to rest. Maybe the covid shot is making me feel drained today. Lost my white kitten with the gray tail. He was so healthy looking... don't know what happened.

My daughter's Boston terriers are always at the vets.

As much as I wanted another American Bulldog, I felt the need to get something different. I didn't want to compare any dog to Mal, because she was just so perfect. After my attempt to rescue a greyhound, after their racing career was over, fell through three different times, I am glad my son and I adopted Cookie from a family whose kid had developed allergies. Border Collies are a wonderful breed. You're right to concentrate on getting a healthy dog, no matter the breed or mix.

All I've done is lay around today... feels weird. I just fed and was going to start working on some trim, but then decided 'screwit!'. Tomorrow I plan on getting my bivalent covid booster. I can just walk in to the pharmacy without an appointment.

@dughlas I was just snuggling with Cookie and thought about Thistle. I feel so lucky to have found such a great dog after losing Mallory, and I was just wondering if your grief has receded enough you are considering giving another dog a wonderful home? I would like for you to have the same comfort I have found with Cookie... if you are ready.
