I'm a sappy old man, and you made me cry, buddy. Seriously. The car, the picnic, the significance of the dates, the caskets laid atop one another, the car in the museum only starting on May third... and the love of their children... all made for a warm and touching story. Life is to be lived, and these two men were fortunate to be able to do so in a time odds were stacked against them.
I had to google the car out of curiosity, and chuckled to see it was the Weasley-mobile. A car plays a part in an upcoming story for this antho... inanimate things can mean so much to us living, breathing folks. Well done, sir! This was a great way to begin my reading. Cheers! Gary....
