Okay, I am hooked! I hope there will be more forthcoming, please and thank you...
-
I'm sure that's true. The raccoon I saw a couple of months ago stuck his head in a hollowed out log trying to "escape" my presence. He couldn't manage to get in the log completely, so he toddled down the hill to get away.

True, but speaking from experience you've got to look where you're going, too. Admiring the glorious has its drawbacks if one's not careful...

I totally agree, tim, which probably explains my obsessive need to walk outside for exercise rather than using a treadmill indoors. It my seem childish, but I am delighted every time I see woodland critters - chipmunks, raccoons, bunnies - on one of my walks. Heck, I don't even mind when I've gotten caught in the rain and gotten soaked. As for the cemetery I walk through, it speaks of a long life and endurance, which yes I realize seems like an odd statement. But, maybe it makes sense because it's here and thriving in the city 100s of years after it first came to be.

tim, the walk you describe evokes feelings of peace and contentment with no cares but to just feel and appreciate what surrounds us. it! And, no surprise, nicely done. As always...

The perfect words to describe my reaction when I realized what this “story” was all about. I felt like the proverbial fly on the wall as I listened to the author discuss his works with whom I can only describe as his muse/sounding board even though said muse is one of his MCs. Original, well done, and very cool, A.

Very inspiring to put one foot forward and keep on going. It can be done...

Thanks from me too, A. I’m busy deleting stuff I don’t need anymore.

Reader1810 commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Congratulations for having your stories featured in July’s CSR, A! Your stories are terrific and so very deserving of being showcased this way. Kudos to you, my friend. PS: Oops, forgot to say I loved the interview questions and answers. -
I do too. Love the pics with him and his son.

The Google Chrome browser can translate this page - that option popped up when I clicked on the article - but it doesn’t save the translation, so you can only view it in real time.

Let it out, tim. Let it all out, and we'll take it from you so it's not your burden alone. PS: Though these words are hard to read, your skill as a poet is to be celebrated.

Mike, your courageous foray into the world of poetry produced amazing results. They are both excellent, but I have to favour the first one for what you’ve said and what those words say to me. 🤗. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Love all of them, but I’m lingering on the first because you wrote about tiger lilies, which are right up there on my list of faves. Nicely done, rim. PS: Didn’t know what snapdragons looked like, so I looked them. Gorgeous, they are.

Happy Birthday Mann!!

The beginning of the epic - as I knew it would be - confrontation between Kells and Maris was very powerful. What does the desire to eat one's soul look like? I can guess, but I hope I never ever see it first hand, let me tell you. *shudders* I've heard of "protectors" referred to as rottweilers, rocks, and boulders but "psychotic little ginger Chihuahua is a first, but I love it, because is shows the level of Maris's outrage perfectly. There's no mistaking how pissed off she is. I also like how there's a important connection between the confrontation and Josh's suicide attempt. I mean, would Maris have figured out in time what Josh was really saying in his text message? Seconds do sometimes count. As for poor Josh and the torment he was feeling that lead him to attempt suicide? Made me cry, that did. Thank goodness, he wasn't successful. Starry, you've left us with a bit of a cliffie as we wonder what Josh's reaction will be to seeing Kells. Will he turn away from him as he did Maris? I'm thinking he will, and it's going to be an uphill battle for Kells to get through to Josh. Better suck it up and deal with whatever comes Kells.

If this was a book, this chapter would be the ultimate pager turner! Wow, just wow, Starry.

Thanks, molly. I know I’m in good company.

You may be onto something there, tim.

Okay, so I am weird (or deranged ) because the instant I read the word beyond my mind went to this...

Okay, so I got my Angels crossed, but what I said about him holds true, I'd say. I'm glad you have a doc who you can trust is on your side. That's important.
