I was intrigued the idea of Tony and Colt needing a booster shot, so I decided to have a chat with Mr. Google Define: Booster shot Notice a particular word in the definition that looks familiar? Coincidence? I think not....

Can’t believe it took me this long to read Tony and Colt’s story...

Bird Styles and Morning
Reader1810 commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Bird Styles and Morning
Wonderful and sweet images these words invoke, tim. Made me smile. Twice, I have had sparrows feed right from my hand. Then again, these birds were downtown and getting scraps from delighted humans is an art form they have honed and mastered. Always fluttering and hopping around when there’s a tasty snack to be had. It’s a nice thing having a feeder that allows such close interactions with nature. As always, nicely done. PS: These are the birds who delicately accepted the proffered treat. http://toronto-wildlife.com/Birds/Sparrows/sparrows.html -

tim Thank you for sharing cognac’s poems with the rest of us. And, thank you for using your gift with words to say so eloquently what many of us would like to say, but cannot.

I really didn’t expect that ending. Well done, northie!

Didn't see the ending coming. Well done, tim! Coming to the end of the story, this line has more meaning now... Oh, and I loved your choice of descriptors. foray, conducted the transactions, Blue-Dot Days... And, I liked how you told your readers the language Otto spoke is not German I like this way of telling us what Otto and Martha said through Wim's eyes. I think a spell was cast on spoken bits, because the font size says it's 14, but it's still very large. Maybe, they were just really loud? Okay, Ima gonna to stop now, before the entire story ends up in my comment. I think you've figured out by now, I liked it a lot! -
story review Featured Story: Pour Me Another
Reader1810 commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I read this story quite a while ago. The details are a bit fuzzy, but I do know I enjoyed it. Hmm...I think I should read it again to unfuzzy the details.- 11 comments

I will always read what you write, no matter what. I will never ignore you, no matter what. Though you cannot see me, I am on your side. You will always be someone, because you are in my thoughts. I hope putting these words in black and white enables you to purge them from your soul and banish them to the bin where they belong. Luv you lots, tim! xoxo

I’ve only just started reading , but I’ve come across a line that is just wonderful. three small words and yet they say so much. I am left ruminating in their wake. *okay, back to the story*

The HEAer in me would like Josh and Kells relationship to get back on track ASAP. Having said that and thought about it for a bit, maybe taking the approach of putting their history - short it may be, but quite significant, imo - to bed and moving on by dating other people is a good idea. Josh will get a chance to see things from a different perspective. Either, he will like what he sees or he's going to be taking trips down memory lane he hadn't planned on. As for Kells, he may have utilized his "little black book" for a hook up, but I see him taking that route to try and convince himself that's what he should do. His head says that is so, but his heart says differently. I'm rooting for his heart to win in the end. As always, you have a fantastic way with words, Starry. Nicely done.

Hi CscottyCA What you're describing sounds like what I went through when I was trying to figure out the best way to receive story notifications. There are two sections to the Notifications list. This is what the Stories options (part of it, that is) looks like in the second section. The column on the far right is for emails, the one in the middle is for notifications. Toggle the switch to the on position for the notifications you wish to receive then save your options using the save button at the bottom of the page. Good luck!

- my reaction to the bit about William S. - I think I had the same reaction when I was in school. That was terrific, tim. If I remember correctly, I counted three instances where Dean's question was "answered" by a statement. It seems like it should be easy to comprehend this, but reading these lines and the others has given me a bit of whiplash with their abrupt change in direction - very clever technique to throw off your reader so that we can feel the same as Dean in these situations. Talk about walking in someone else's shoes... 🤗 🤗 🤗
