Good afternoon (it’s 12:36 my time) rick. After I cleaned the dust from the lights (took them down, wiped them with a wet paper towel, and dried them with a tissue) in the bathroom, I had lunch which was refrigerator oatmeal w dried cherries. Now I’m chillaxing for a bit. How are you doing?

@Wayne Gray @mollyhousemouse @spyke Okay, so after reading about @Mikiesboy’s plan to knit a cover for his IP, I did a little research. Apparently, IP covers are real, and this is just one example - there are lots and lots let me tell you. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sock-monkey-instant-pot-cover

I guess what you’re saying is knitting takes practice, too. I’ve dropped stitches, but never learned how to fix themAs for undoing a row? At this point, that seems insurmountable. As far as Amazon goes, the same shelving unit I got from Canadian Tire for less than $30 was advertised on Amazon for $45. Amazon might be the most convenient way to shop, but it is defo not always the best price. Never mind, you have to watch out for shipping fees on some of the items which can be ridiculously high.

Good morning DiCers! I wish you all a good day... As for myself, I just got back from getting a flu shot at the pharmacy. It was a rainy walk, but it’s not cold, so the walk was nice despite the rain.
-
That’s marvellous, rick! Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.

Don’t sell yourself short, tim. I’ve knitted and haven’t found it that easy to not drop a stitch or mess up the tension. It might be just me, but I think a person has to have an aptitude - and patience - for knitted items to turn out looking nice.
-
Oh, I bet it brings back nice memories of your grandma.

My parents bought custom made furniture when they redid the living room back in ‘91. It’s all held up well over the years, so it defo can be worth it to go that route.
-
Okay, yes, that makes sense. I hope he’s got something decent as a stand in the meantime.

Nineteen weeks? That’s a long time to wait for a new sofa. Then again, it’s been a very long time since I bought a sofa, so who knows, nowadays.
-
They both look so cozy, tim. And, did I mention intricate? I am impressed.

beautiful pic @rickproehl Happy dreams to you.

Good morning, rick. At the moment, my only plan of the day is to call to make an appointment to get a flu shot. Oh, and go for walk as it is a sunny day. How about yourself?
-
Good night tim. Enjoy your show. When the time comes...sweet dreamz tonight and always xoxo

I’m eating a persimmon at the moment. I’ve known about them for a long time, but I forgot about them. Silly me, because they are so good!
-
I can see the stitches really well, so looks good to me.

@mollyhousemouse @rickproehl @chris191070 @kbois It was just my mom and I, so it was a quiet day.
-
Good Morning, Chris. I hope your day gets better as it progresses.

@mollyhousemouse two bite brownies - and two bite cinnamon rolls - are delish, aren’t they?
-
Mmmm... Cinnamon coffee cake is an okay alternative in my book. Enjoy!
-
Hi Starry! *waves* Nope, nothing new my way, though now I’m wishing I had a brownie...

I used to knit - not very well mind you - to relax. If only I could remember how to “load” the first row of stitches onto the needle... oh right, I’m sure YouTube has some helpful hints. The other crafts I really liked doing were rug hooking and cross-stitch. Maybe I should look into doing that again as the leaves have decided not to fall now that I’ve got my leave mulcher ready to go... Oh, and good morning everyone. I hope you all have a great day! PS: Funny story. My aunt decided to teach me to knit when I was eight. You could have heard a pin drop when she referred to me as the happy hooker.

Happy birthday Fae’s dad!
-
This made me smile. Thank you, tim.
-
That’s what I’m thinking. I hope we’re right.
