I didn’t have a family nickname when I was little, but my neighbour called me Charlie Brown on more than one occasion that I can recall. I’m sure it was because it was his favourite cartoon...

Good for Peter for not giving up, and I hope it works out as he wants.

Procrastinate? Me? Noooo. When I’m finished procrastinating, I will read this article.

Good evening, rick. Pizza sounds nice. I had baked chicken with kale salad (it’s a mixed bag of kale and other stuff with poppyseed dressing). I soaked the chicken pan, so now I need to clean it and put it away. I’ll be around later. If I’m not back, have a good night everyone...

I feel your pain. My left knee starts to ache after the muscles/joints warm up, which isn’t fun. Good luck with your walk.

The sun is shining now, but a bit ago it was pouring. Checked the rain gauge, and in less than 30 minutes we got almost 2 cm (so not quite an inch) of rain. The cool air sure feels nice... Hope your day is going well DiCers

So true.

Yay! Sounds like a win. I hope your son is pleased with the results.

Mmm... love cabbage rolls, especially the ones my Grandma made. Enjoy your dinner.

Dwight’s voice is in my head...

That’s an awesome thing to do, rick, and I’m sure it’s well appreciated. After going for a walk, I tilled the soil in the garden in preparation for the big rain that’s in the forecast - fingers crossed we get a lot - had dinner, cleaned up the dishes, and now I’m chilling with a bowl of cherries.

Looks great, Wayne.

17 ribbons sounds like a good day, Kitt.

That is kinda wow. So long ago this was written, you wouldn’t think such a deep - the word is not psychological, but nothing else comes to mind - and astute way of thinking would have existed back then. I suppose, though, why not, right? Thanks for posting this - in this format it made me smile - @kbois

Hey, there’s no harm in looking! Just saying... Cause, yeah, I probably am old enough to be the m word.

I hear you loud and clear. I’m like that with my mom’s 2016 car. I had a 95 Ford Escort. a Lovely car to drive. Simple and straightforward. With this one, I’m constantly forgetting I have to use the key fob to lock/unlock the car. I was moving the car last week and couldn’t figure out why the darn car wouldn’t lock. A voice reaches my ears “you probably have a door open”. Sure enough, the passenger door was open because I was checking to see how close I was to the curb, which I forgot I’d done so. Did I mention my short term memory is the pits? Anyhoo, problem solved and the door locked. As for the helpful voice? Attached to a landscaper working at the neighbour’s house across the street. And yes, he was mighty fine looking.

You’re a real trooper, Renee. Never forget that.

I’m the same way. I find being online here with you all has helped me overcome my trepidation about approaching and speaking to people I don’t know that well. Being here with you all along with your no strings attached acceptance/non-judgmental friendships have me be a lot braver in the real world. Case in point: without much thinking or worry, I was able to go across the street and have a really nice conversation with neighbours I didn’t know. That’s something that would have been very hard for me to do once upon a time. So, thanks everyone for just be you.

Sounds like the best method, so that’s what I’ll do as well.

Yes, they are sturdy, aren’t they? Question. Did you hand wash them? I originally thought of putting them in the regular wash, but that doesn’t seem like good idea as I’m thinking about it now.

@Mikiesboy @MichaelS36 I wore the Canada Strong mask when I did the weekly grocery shopping this morning. Have to say, I am impressed. I made sure the nose piece was pinched well in place, and what a relief it was that: 1. It didn’t slip once, so 2. I had no episodes of walking through fog. A satisfied customer, I am. Thanks again for alerting me to this mask, Mike. Oh, and good morning DiCers on yet another glorious morning. Hope it’s a good one for you as well.
