Hi Spike! Just so you and Man know, Clo is in charge of the CotT2 rule book about acquiring new members to your herds. Check with her for details. Val's not much problem, but hands off Chris Hemsworth/Thor. She's more that a little touchy if you touch. Don't know how Dugh got his claim other than he is proud of his Scottish heritage, and wants to protect those guys. He extends it to the Irish, although I don't think it fair. That's my heritage and I think red heads are fair game for me. As for the clean shaven thing, you aren't the only one who claims those. I leave studs with a lot of hair and tattoos alone, but will take on others even if they are scruffy. Unfortunately, most of these guys are gone by the time I wake up in the morning. One of the downsides of living half a world away.

Will and Mitch were together before. Will definitely wants to reconcile, but Mitch is blocking that idea. I think that Mitch would want this, but is now protecting Will from experiencing Mitch's death. Will's speech about not wanting to see Mitch die only reenforces Mitch's determination.

Coy is a sneaky devil in a good way. I had to chuckle at how he got around Mitch's request that they not mentioned Mitch's name to Will. Coy gave out enough information to Will and Alan about Mitch to get around that without breaking his promise. Will also has an open invitation to the farm, if he gets curious enough to check out to see if it is Mitch who is visiting Coy and Boone. I bet Coy will be just as sneaky when he gets concerned enough about Mitch's health to get Mitch to see a doctor. Coy's character arc from the beginning of Sidewinders is unexpected, but a thing of beauty.

I love this! I was also raised in the country and weaned on the music of Hank Williams and Patsy Cline. It was funny that my mom and dad introduced me to both Elvis and 101 Strings Symphony for Lovers on my 10th birthday when the gifted me with those albums and a record player. They gave me an appreciation for a very broad range of music.

I enjoyed this chapter very much. First, because Coy has become such a busybody and not the shy closeted man he was before. Both he and Boone are greatly concerned about Mitch and his health, but at least they were able to convince Mitch to stay a while. I like how Coy and Boone may not always agree, but the do manage to negotiate. Although the funniest part of this chapter was how Mitch foiled Coy's plan to talk to Will Merrick.

Mitch is back, but his sickness is bad news. The dust of Red Bluff has apparently been very bad for his health. I am sure that Coy and Boone are concerned and glad they have convinced him to stay with them. I hope he will find his way back to health with the clean air in Larkspur, but that's a wish, not a certainty. If Mitch does know the same Merrick, I wonder what their backstory is about. It was great that the colt was safely born. It sounds as if he is the perfect blend of Duke and Daisy!

Well worth watching for the music...and the skin!

Trust me young man, Village People had the same effect for gays in my time. I love the Pet Shop Boys, but they are much more cerebral. As for exposed skin? You should check out this vid by the Pet Shop Boys James. I love and respect both groups. They had different styles, but both were great in their own way in different decades.

Great news! We both live in similar time zones! If you go west, you'll probably meet Bucket, a friend of mine on GA in Perth. I did have to get used to the British spellings when teaching in an international school here in Thailand. It seems the British have a lot of influence here. It took me some time to get used to the Thai students pronouncing English words with a UK accent. My computer had to be set for a UK spell checker. 😄

Ha, ha, ha James. Remakes rarely are better than the originals! Pet Shop boys are good, but the costumes leave much to be desired! Black and blue are not as sexy as exposed skin.

It's great to see Sheriff Willard again, even if he isn't a sheriff no more. No surprise he doesn't have a problem with the PDA of Coy and Boone, although it is not that public. As close and accepting as Willard was to Wes, Lee and Dan, I expect that he may have his own secret desires. Is it what Mitch is keeping from Coy and Boone? I have to say that with parents like Daisy and Duke that stud muffin colt will be just fine! Tiberius will be ecstatic when he sees the colt. BTW I love the pairing of Duke and Daisy with the hazardous birth. Maybe the colt should be named Hazzard.

I'm back and ready to binge again. It's nice to know that there are friends are also here for the ride. Looking forward to seeing Coy, Boone, Willard and the great animals on the farm.
