Except for the puking, it sounds very similar to my holidays. I kind of took off on holiday from GA and spent more time with my friends. Here that means food and drink! You are too young to be saying something like that!

Happy New Year, @drsawzall! I like Krazy Kuties in the Korner, or Korner of Krazy Kutness. BTW, your aquarium in the Korner is filled with some pale red herrings. I think they are lacking proper color from disuse. The Terrible Trio (aka @kbois, @Mrsgnomie, and @astone2292) needs to get some new stories posted, other than the wonderful one chapter tales in Storyverse. It's so hard to throw a red herring in with just one chapter. -
Great ending to a wonderful CB story for Christmas. I was surprised that Kippy got his wish. What an awesome Christmas gift for them all. @Geron Kees, May your new year be filled with happiness, health and a lot of time to write new stories. 😁 Looking forward to seeing some of those you mentioned in the comments come alive here on GA. ❤️

Lane's appearance was about the time I expected it. He probably figured out they were not on the ship as it approached Atackit Tor. I'm also sure Pankor let him know powerful magic users were in Atackit and where to find them. Now to see how things will play out.

I wish I had been in that planning huddle. I do like the idea of "Memory Lane Inquiries". I can see Jol, Browbeat and Lane teaming up to help those who have no idea where they are and how they got there. They might need one more character or two. I could also see Lane establishing his own reality that would be welcoming to the members of his family he is missing. Now I am waiting for Aggie and the confrontation with Lane.

Agreed! Dad taught me how to read before the first grade by reading the Sunday comics page every week. Rocky and Bullwinkle got me into learning history, poetry and geography using humor. Superman comic books got me interesting in studying space. They were the sparks of ideas I had to research in the local library. Learning comes in all forms. I did enjoy the humor @Ivor Slipper used to state his experience. He always has a way of getting me to laugh with his sharp humor. As for @Backwoods Boy, I like your style of reading. I also have to lookup things referenced in stories. It's like Alice in Wonderland, I jump into the rabbit hole called internet when I get curious.

Well the robbery and Lane's murder went as some suggested. I did find it funny that Auggie thought to cover sight and sound, but not the footprints the guys left at the bank when the arrived before the robbers. The main thing now, and probably the most difficult will be to heal Lane.

A lot of great theories in the comments. I also liked Ivor and Geron's poems. Jeremiah is rapidly adapting to a whole new world of magic surrounding Charlie. Maybe he could be a roving ambassador to witch communities somewhere in his future. Now there is a plan in place, it will be fun to see how many complications arise from time traveling and healing Lane's split personalities.

Jeremiah is an interesting guy whose storytelling style was enjoyable. I did kind of suspect that Holdover might have some magic either in the house, land or people, but not another seer. Rance and Eleanora are nice people and want to protect Lane. Lane was a much different person while alive. I do wonder how our gang are going to convince Lane that he is dead and needs to move forward. His skills developed in life could be an asset in death in the lower level.

Hi All! I see things have gotten of to a good start to the New Year. So Drew's off to Mexico in March. I think that would be a good time for Spike to...(redacted). I can see why Drew's parents are taking him with them. I kitchen remodel is very expensive.
