    I love a story with good hearted people that are willing and able to cut a few corners to make good things happen. Associated Executive Car Services seems to have the right kind of people for this specific job.

    Which ever of the Major's contacts selected Jacob for the job did a fine job getting the best man. It would be wonderful if they find a way to expedite Joseph's adoption and be able to return to the UK with him when they leave.

    A lovely first meeting with Joseph. He is charming and it is no wonder that Manny wanted to bring him to the UK. I hope it will be easy for Kevin and Ian to adopt him.

    All the work Ian and Kevin had to do to set things up for an adoption was exhausting...and I only had to read about it. Major is definitely focused on success and wants the boys to be safe. His friends helping for free says a lot about their high regard for Major. Great chapter.

    Wow! Things move fast when the Major arrives. It looks like his contacts are not just in the UK. The adoption will be difficult, but hopefully not impossible. It's a good thing the boys have a trusted employee in Sean.

    I love this twist to the story. Ian and Kevin feel indebted to Manny for all the things he did for them. However, their quick decision wasn't based on that, I'm sure. They are responsible good people that just want to help a child in distress. I know that they will make great dads and give the boy a wonderful home and family.

    Looking forward to Ian and Kevin's story with a different view of what happened in The Boot series. I thought how the met and what happened to them was great background to their story.

    John is the primary featured character in The Boot series of stories. Lost Souls-JohnChristian is his history from youth to his introduction the The Boot, a refuge for the homeless. It is a compelling tale that stands alone, but one you will enjoy for all the sadness and success in John's early years. I know if you read this you will probably want to read all the other wonderful stories about The Boot.

    Hi Albert! I have to say I admire your skills in the kitchen. I'm trying to do more myself. I was happy to hear about the doctor's exam with excellent results. How is Steve doing? I almost forgot, I'm reading The Boot series of stories you read two months ago. I really am enjoying them.

    I was wondering how and when Chris met Dr. Gary Evans. Carl was just another leach. It's nice to know that Gary acted honorably and will end up with Edwardo.

    I have met a few Simons in my life. They disgust me. Christian is well rid of that leach. I am sad that Chris has now lost one more parent in his life.

    I like both styles with and without the coconut milk. Coconut milk makes it a rich creamy soup, but without it is a lighter soup with more pronounced flavors.

    I am glad that Christian was there to encourage and support John. I had not doubt Emily and Phillip would love him less. John's choices for his new name were perfect and reflect his respect and love for those who care for him.

    I can understand why Phillip and Emily were keeping quiet about their plans. I was glad that John had only a short time to stress about what would happen before he found out the truth. Their new location and family will probably face challenges, but it sounds as if Phillip and Emily's plans have a great chance for success.

    Christian make a good big brother and knows where John is headed. John has a lot of people who love him, he just needs to understand and gain trust. John and Ethel love him, but Phillip's comment about chasing John makes it appear that John and Ethel are to old to raise him. I suspect that Phillip and Emily might be there to see if they can adopt John.

    Good start to the story, but a bit confusing with the names. It seems as though John has a tiny bit of a crush on Christian.

    A beautifully written sad story, Lost Souls-The OX, tells the backstory of one of the most delightful characters in The Boot series. Major Ox is a most eccentric and lovable character, and this story gives much history of how he ended up at The Boot, a homeless shelter. It is a stand alone story, but will be much more enjoyable if you read his HEA in The Boot series. By itself it is a very moving story that I highly recommend.
