  1. Hi Albert! How are you and Steve? I hope things are warming up for you.
  2. Hi Spike! Hope you are doing well. It's not scary here, so I'm OK.
  3. That Drew speak for Hi Clo! How are you doing, Drewster? Has Yayo established himself as emperor and god cat of the household yet?
  4. Hi Clo! If Grandma sends you too many, you can forward them to me. I don't want to brag, but it is peach season here, and they are delicious this year!
  5. Hi Albert!
  6. We're doing well, @Page Scrawler. Isn't it about time for some more stories about your almost-teen?😁

    The Return Home

The bonus chapter is very good. It's like a gentle landing after the emotional turbulence of the story. It does leave a lot open for the author's further creative endeavours.

    My sentiments also, my friend!

    The Return Home

In my opinion, Grandpa Ox was a foregone conclusion. It didn't take long for him to establish his place in the new family.

    The Return Home

Asking much? Not too much, I hope. I will give you this brief view into their future. They are definitely going into business with Ian and Kevin as partners in GJ&C. (I hope you push Mancunian for a lot more information! I've been hinting/nagging him for a sequel.)

    The Return Home

Just a reminder for those who haven't yet made a Recommendation or a Review, these are two excellent ways to show Mancunian how much you enjoyed the story. They also authors to continue writing more stories.

    The Return Home

Love your comment and agree that it would be great to see Joseph and Benjamin again with a larger family and community in Manchester.

Thanks for the kind words of acknowledgement @Flip-Flop. What Craig and I do are a work of love. Your comment makes it even more rewarding.

I think Tom's thoughts at the end of the chapter were interesting. He favourly compared what Manny achieved to Ox. I wonder if Manny and Ox had any conversations about related to what they had achieved in life before Manny died.

In all honesty, I think Ariel staying with her pups and the twins' family was a good decision. Shamira and Isaac are compassionate and loving people. Leaving Ariel behind will be difficult for Benjamin, but Ariel will not have to experience the trauma of leaving her pups as well as the international travel process for pets.

    Almost Home

That would make a great sign to put on my front door. That way my friends can't complain they were not warned when they come to visit.😁

They would make a great family. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them.

    Almost Home

I do enjoy the cloak-and-dagger parts of this story. Some are out in the open, and some in the subtle background, but they add a spicy bit of adventure and intrigue!

    Almost Home

Well, Kevin jumped to the wrong conclusion, but his strong boyfriend kept him from spiraling down. It's great that Manny's friends have come through for Ian and Kevin so that Joseph will be able to get safely to the UK. Kevin definitely needed to reign in his curiosity during the meeting. He's been cautioned before about deniability, 'But...' Personally, I think it would have been more fun if Ian had kissed his mouth shut. Too bad I didn't think of that sooner. Sorry, Craig. Did someone through a spanner in the works at the very last minute? Tom

    Benjamin's Secret

I get the feeling that Jacob thinks of both Joseph and Benjamin as younger brothers. I know from research about transporting dogs from the USA to Thailand before I came here. The process is long, difficult and expensive. The worst of it is the suffering of the pet for many months. I decided not to subject my beloved pets to that.

    Benjamin's Secret

The process is complicated, and Joseph's request may throw a spanner into the works. I've got my fingers crossed, too.
