    Never Again

that was really good! relationships aren't necessarily linear, going from point A to B to C, etc. there are swerves, curves, and bumpy roads Jarrod seems to realize that while Arnie was the one who did the straying, it wasn't just Arnie who had screwed up somewhere i hope they can make it work thanks for sharing this tim xoxo
  12. oh i love these two! i wonder if Larry and Faris aren't related? Faris is as much a silly puppy as Larry is, LOL! i can also see Faris' face as he packs away those lights.and it's good to know that even though they lost to the Very Princess Castle, they beat the nasty neighbor! i'm glad you still like writing about them, and that their story goes on thank you!
  13. making notes for my playlist!
  14. i asked my Husband for some help with this, here's the list: You Look Wonderful Tonight...either Joe Cocker or Eric Clapton my Husband doesn't dance, at. all. this song, He'll dance with me Wicked Games...Chris Isaak there is something about that voice and that guitar Let's Get It On...Marvin Gaye again, there's just something about that groove Feels So Right...Alabama yes, it's country, but listen to the lyrics When We Make Love...Alabama again, the lyrics and the rhythm of this one The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face...Roberta Flack I'll Make Love To You...Boyz II Men I Don't Want To Miss A Thing...Aerosmith Your Man...Josh Turner Getting You Home...Chris Young Darling Nikki...Prince Amanda...Boston
  15. we've often talked of the birds that visit your balcony this set of poems sums up just about every one of those conversations! i can see the woodpecker bullying his way to the food in my mind morning is such a sacred time, for so many reasons everything is new again, reborn i too treasure the peace of the quiet before the chaos of living thank you for sharing these, i know it's not always easy and i'm glad you do this for us, and for you
  16. "you and me" sometimes, it takes me a while to be able to put my reactions into words but not this one! it hit home in so many ways but most especially those last two lines, oh they hit my heart! you have such a gift, the way your words, about things in your world, say things that i would love to say "the silent" reminds me to breathe, to look around, and "see" what's behind all the noise i know i say it all the time, but thank you tim, for sharing your gift with us for trusting us with these words from your heart xoxo
  17. i understand this so well! trust in all things, this is where i stumble most often this life is so rewarding, but as you said, not for the weak. you can't do this by half measures, it must be all or nothing. but being human, we do trip over ourselves. thankfully our Sirs, Doms, Husbands know we are imperfect creatures, and They are always there to get us back on track.
  18. it seems to be a time of reflection. i've spent a great deal of time doing just that this week. this blog post struck a chord, several actually, with me tonight. i'll be sharing it with Phil, who if you are reading this and don't know me is my Sir, my Husband. there are things you mention here that are are the very things i have been working on this week while i'm sorry that this happened, i'm so very glad that Michael Sir is always there for you, and that He had you share this with us. thank you Michael Sir for that, thank you tim for your honesty and openness
  19. poetry is how you process things like this, it's on your profile page poetry is how you write your world. having this here is, as you said, a small and appropriate memorial to cognac i'll treasure the memories that were made talking with him and am grateful that his son trusted and shared the others, his dad's final gift to us thank you tim, cognac, and cognac jr
  20. well that was a good way to start my morning! thanks @Carlos Hazday for another wonderful installment! thanks to @Renee Stevens for getting the reboot started

    Tanka #2

i don't "do" critters with more than 4 legs & usually there is a scream. 😱 however, Sir, Your spider is portrayed as human, waiting patiently for the payoff. much as we do. thanks for sharing this
  23. very nicely done Parker! the first two brought a smile, i miss the aspen changing in the mountains the third, well, i will have a hard time forgetting you, but it is a thought i understand thank you for sharing these
