  3. that was a very nicely done piece Cassie i could hear the dull drowsy droning of summertime insects. i could smell the scent of freshly cut grass lingering underneath the more powerful odor of fuel and exhaust. and the sex! WHEW! the ending was definitely NOT what i expected, but was wholly satisfying! i thoroughly enjoyed the ride!

    I See You

i've been there too Sir clothes, like the hoodie, are also metaphorical. to feel safe enough to allow others in, to be able to "push that hoodie away" can take a while it's such a journey, and really doesn't end, it can be two steps forward and one step back. i can feel the love, and the frustration, and the hope from You Sir it is such a familiar feeling, and i thank You for sharing this with us

    A Reflection

i've likened poets to artists, combining words just so, as an artist would with colors and pigments but this poem, this one is more like an illusionists conjuring, summoning up feelings, using carefully chosen and placed words and a kiss is a wonderful reward thank you for sharing this with us

    Life on Meds

life on meds is like living on a tight rope a delicate balancing act where one, slight, small wobble acts likes ripples in a pond i'm hoping the words and the calm stay
  15. Late to the party, but i have a couple that were good. We watched "Queen; How They Broke Free" last weekend, we saw it on REELZ, and i know you can find it at Amazon. https://www.reelz.com/queen-broke-free/ Especially with the Bio-Pic due out, and the things we've heard about them "straight washing" it, this was a good watch. And "A Century of Silent Service" was on the History Channel, i'm not sure if it's available on YouTube, but it was fascinating! Former President Jimmy Carter hosted. We had forgotten that he served aboard submarines. https://www.amazon.com/Century-Silent-Service-VHS/dp/B00006JN65
  16. i am grateful to those who had to fight so hard, for my children's friends, my friends children (daughter of a good friend had to leave her small town after high school graduation last month to find some peace) and the children yet to come
