Those voices, those monsters in your brain can make words fly out of your mouth before you know it. Your words here reflect the want in your heart for peace. Thank you for bravely sharing your journey with us.

    Suicide

You'll get through this you're too strong not to.
  6. This is very powerful! And the image it conjours up is sad and soft and strong. It really spoke to me and I thank you for sharing it.

    Thornwood

OK. Falling in love with Edwin. And Nettie! I think she'll enjoy cooking for Edwin. Now for the hard part, convincing the others.
  9. OMG! I hate, HATE, shopping! Going in to Harrods’ I was just astounded by the sheer size of it. This would be the thing of nightmares for me! I'm glad Devon liked it though, and I love that Colin loves to surprise him with these things. So, I like the MMA fights, and the ring announcer always says, "It's TIME!" and that's what this feels like!

    Faggots?

My group of friends dragged me to IKEA when I told them I had never been. Won't. Ever. Go. Back! This part of the story just whetted my appetite for more! I love the slow build. It's working nicely.

    Preperations

Oh @GWood, I hadn't picked up on that! I love that Devon's mom came to him about this. I hope that my kids and I have that kind of relationship. This was a great setting it all up chapter!
  12. And here we go into the wider world! I'm excited to see how it plays out!

    Chapter 27

Well, now. That was some....I need to find hubby's ties. I don't have the same "bits" to have tied, but that scene makes me want to have that conversation. That was well done! I do wonder how the decorator will be able to do the ranch house in less than a week. She's gonna have to bust her a## to get that done. I can't wait to see what happens next.

    Musings

OMGoodness! What a wonderful gift on a Friday morning. I was chuckling right off the bat! I can't remember the last time I saw a Yellow Pages, much less used one! And "flung himself into his chair..." I heard the chair complain! And Mary! She was a hoot! Oh thanks so much for doing this! Well done!
  15. oh Wesley, I'm glad you were able to read them again and see the love written there.

    Gone

I know, and yes that it's real it makes it so much more
  17. Michael, you have a way with words Sir
  18. Love is scary. Trusting your heart to another person. Trusting that they'll not hurt you. That they'll return your love. That they'll not ridicule your feelings. Loving is scarier than any haunted house, or creepy critter, or Hollywood monster. But, I think, a life with no love, ever, is scarier still. Don't be so afraid that you miss it, Wesley. For love, real love, is the most beautiful, wondrous thing there is. Thank you, Wesley, for sharing this with us.

    Gone

tim-- Such sad, sweet words of goodbye I understand the longing of what was, before whatever happened to blight it. You do have a way with words. Thank you, again, for sharing your talent with us! Molly

    A Rose

Oh I liked it! I liked it a lot! I don't know about forms but it was well done! Thanks for being brave enough to try!
  21. Moggy, another nice one! Haunting and beautiful all at once. Looking into lives with eyes, covered like windows curtained in laces. That's such imagery! I really like it, I can see it! You keep writing, I'll keep reading! Now the question is do I go to the centre and tell everyone or not....hhhmmmmm?

    Light Lunch

Very nice, Gary! It's so good to read of older people finding love. That if you let yourself be open to it, love can find you again. Thanks for another glimpse into their world, and I do hope that we get to see them again. Molly

    Radiated Love

That was well done! My first year at college was near some sand dunes. Your story brought to mind the layer of grit that covered everything after the wind came through. ....shudder.... Thanks for sharing!

    Courting Ruin

OMGosh! Not what I was expecting...with the thuds and bangs! And of course it was a Siamese kitten! I they are hell on four paws! Well done!
