that was wonderfully written and brilliantly drawn. Not even remotely expected. Your writing is positively exquisite here, like an explosions of blossoms after a good soaking rain. And the ending of the chapter just left me feeling Well's wistfulness brutally. Loved it. -
You writing, the style, the voice is so very enchanting and mesmerizing. The atmosphere is given a lovely nostalgic light. Well is enchanting and witty and you've drawn him quite deftly.

It's captivating. The writing draws the reader. You build wonderful atmosphere, their a subtle tension flowing throughout, the characters are wondrously created, truly wonderful so far.

Complete and utter brilliance. Their chemistry is a magical creation, so real, so palpable, it practically radiates off my little screen here. I'm anime illiterate and am only familiar with the titles you listed because of working at a bookstore and selling the manga....but still your details are so ...so....so....it's like I'm the proverbial 3rd person sitting at the table, eating drinking tasting touching feeling. It's all marvelously done.

This is wonderful. The writing is delightful the pacing and flow smooth, the dialogue and characters spot on ... It's all very delightful. I'm completely enamoured with your writing voice. You or characterization is just lovely, with small moments, bits of dialogue drawing them in loving detail.

Intrigued is an understatement. Captivated. Mesmerized. That was a brilliant and beautiful prologue. I don't know if there's more as this was posted ages ago, but I truly hope so. My good God, but that was utterly brilliant!

Utter perfection. Devon and Ace are such beautiful creations, their friendship is wonderfully drawn and all of it was just beautiful. I can't begin to describe how moving that relationship is and the depths of friendship that Ace showed was incredible.

Such beautiful amazing writing. This is the first of your Riding Lesson stories that I've read and was completely captivated by your writing. Stunning work. Your characters are mesmerizing, the flow and pacing is perfect, all your details give the story a richness that's just wonderful. I couldn't help but think that Cody got his just desserts and that, I don't know, that maybe Tanner had something to do with it and that his "running away" isn't exactly what it appears to be. All in all, it's just lovely writing despite the harsh reality of the topic, still beautifully written

Captivating. Simply captivating. Your characters are brilliantly drawn and smart. It doesn't feel the least bit contrived because you add the great details of what hey learned from their parents. Really really good stuff.

Wonderful start. The narration from our protagonist is compelling and captivating. You convey so much of his loneliness, his sadness. Really nice start.

Really great start. The opening scene with the mother, such wonderful details. It felt so authentic So I look forward to more . Your main character is a delight to read.

Beautiful heartfelt story. Wonderfully captured a nostalgic air as Uncle Johnny reminisces. the characters are beauitfully drawn and the memories are almost ethereal. The flow and pacing of the story is perfect, the dialogue is smart and exact, the characters chemistry is wonderful and subtle. It's a delightful piece of writing.

This is wondrous. Their relationship is so contrary, it's mesmerizing how they interact, how they practically hate each other, but are hungry for each other. Your characters are so wonderfully drawn and realized, walk off the proverbial page characters. Brilliantly done. Dialogue is smart and quick and witty and just lovely. The flow and pacing is marvelous and your "voice" is compelling and strong.

I'm torn between whether or not I like Michael yet. granted it's just the first chapter but he comes off like a douche.... Granted i suppose we have to have our conflict and since he's our other protagonist, my assumption is that I'll grow to like him. I'm somewhat enamoured with Ash already, which is a good sign. Nice start. Fortunately I've several chapters, no waiting.
