I must be moving down south rather than just heading off for a week... I seem to have bought a truck load of bits and pieces for the holiday and this just the extra stuff, fruit and veg I will get at the farmers market on the way there. I need a bigger car

Commercial ones have a used by date up to two years ahead. I finished the last of mine from 2019 about a month ago and it was perfectly good. There is so much sugar and very little water. And they taste so good that you want to make them last

Very true but it does work well with Christmas cookies ( well most sweet baked goods) and chocolate. Perfect for this time of year I wasn’t planning on visiting a specialist tea shop but I might need to add it to my weekend gallivant.
