No cooking here, all cold We had a mountain of prawns as well as ham, turkey and silverside. Salads x4. Dips nibbles and cheese. Then hot Christmas pudding with chilled custard

Commercial ones have a used by date up to two years ahead. I finished the last of mine from 2019 about a month ago and it was perfectly good. There is so much sugar and very little water.
And they taste so good that you want to make them last
Very true but it does work well with Christmas cookies ( well most sweet baked goods) and chocolate. Perfect for this time of year
