    Lol evil Canadians Don’t let them hear how we panic at the beginning of winter because the roads are wet To be fair to my neighbours, the first rains are a problem because it releases all the oils collected over the hotter dryer weather and the roads are a bit more slippery. And we don’t get wet road days off school

    Hi Terry A strange mix of a day - no power until lunchtime tomorrow I decided to book into a hotel for the night so I can get some sleep. It will be 27C minimum and that will make me unless tomorrow. I have a meeting that I need to be conscious and coherent for Coherent is over rated What about you?

    Well hasn’t today had some interesting weather… starting with a fog alert this morning, then it climbed to 42C, cancelled the fog alert, to be replaced by a heat wave and then we now have a severe thunderstorm warning. To make things even better, I don't have power and it is unlike to be restored before 9pm. I have left home, which was getting a bit stuffy and driven to the coast. A bit better here but still so humid. I am issuing a grumpy warning
