Stockholm got a bunch of my earlier years in the workforce. It’s lovely to read about the place and recognize the places described. For me it was Covid and working 100% remote that made me realize that you get far more for your money outside of the capital region. The old scandals feel quaint given how things have changed, but it hasn’t always been easy. The last mini scandal here was the man proposed to step into the role of chief advisor for national security having had his Grindr nudes leaked. The issue was that he didn’t tell that he had nudes shared on Grindr during the vetting process under oath - nothing about his orientation or dating life 😇 Life after 30 has meant fewer hookups, but it is possible to date, maintain friendships and all that, so not all hope is lost. I like that Alarik is finally catching some air beneath his wings and decides to take control of his circumstances. Also noteworthy is the fact his neighbor is less shy about things - I suspect he knows full well that he’s got an admirer. It’s interesting to imagine where this goes next - thank you!

Oh to lead such a dull life and yet be loved by the people. It’s a welcome return to form by George, and a lovely surprise. It seems that George and Carmella will be the talk of the ton about town propelling his popularity. Here’s hoping he can juggle everything going on while avoiding scandal.

The restaurant business is tough, but itvsens that our duo got it covered. I like how Mav is moving heaven and earth so he can get settled in early. It’s a treat to read how the gang takes care of each other and how the story unfolds. Thank you!

Parenting through tough love. Marc and Adam needed to be stern, Adam content with letting Marc be the bad cop. I’d keep close tabs on Anna in case she’s a schemer of some kind. I love how the family dynamics now involve the children being saddled with adult responsibilities. Everyone will come out better for it, I just hope there won’t be any lingering resentment.

Taylor has clearly bitten off more than she can chew. I wouldn’t want to be in her shoes once the interrogation starts. Or when the unraveling of the Guy Fellowes plot starts. She will need protection from those racketeers or suffer at their hands. Leaving that plot thread - I’m curious to see how Maria is going to work the slob team in shape. Or how a recovering Travis returns to acting. Also, JJ has been quiet as of late. Are we in for some extra histrionics at Thanksgiving? I want Grand to hiss at miscreants, make them suffer for any faux pas.

Marc and Adam aren’t keeping up with the Joneses, they are the Joneses! People get caught up in their wake, I just hope they keep everyone happy. I wonder what Hunter is up to - grandchildren, wedding? He didn’t turn out a bad apple? This story is fast paced, I can’t wait to read what’s coming down the line.

Oh wow - things are bound to get more complicated, both in the country and in office. I like the social commentary - Europe has such a wide gamut of politics. Everything’s possible from countries with a few large parties, to two-party systems like in the UK with first past the post. Voter disillusionment is fast becoming very real - the old guard has been busy with minor issues to differentiate themselves, while losing track of where the ball is moving. Let’s see how Wilma and Justin work it out. Considering how expensive it is to get reasonable accommodations, I can see why practicality wins out. It will be like walking on a wire though, so I suspect it won’t be a permanent solution. The we have the riddle of Alex - it’s not uncommon to not really know your neighbors. I like Alariks quiet musings on the topic and that we slowly can start inferencing things. It’s like slowly unwrapping a lollipop. This is really an intense slow burn. Thank you for the chapter, looking forward to see where it takes us next.

Mav really has a lot on his plate. I suspect he does that out of old habit, but he should allow himself to slow down once in a while for his own sake. And for Randy’s too. That said, exciting times ahead building his business! I hope that Randy gets a say in how they set up their lives. It’s really quite the menagerie of characters - I think they all have their parts to play in ways we don’t know yet. Exciting!

The plot thickens. The more we get to read about Alex, the less we know for certain. Observation leads to speculation. Did someone lead poor Wilma on, or did she misconstrue the entire group dynamic at work? I wonder what that will lead to? Thank you for another great chapter! Spänningen stiger 😀

Things are falling into place and it’s an oh so nice read. I wonder how Maverick is going to balance his relationship with building a career and his budding business? It’s a question fir the ages, or at least until the next chapter drops.

Momentum is building. Does Marc have it in him to silently observe, move on and forgive? It’s going to take a toll on him otherwise. The children are alright, and that’s another worry outing the way. I wonder what’s lurking in the shadows? Thanks yet again for a wonderful chapter, I don’t know how you do it. Thank you!

Oh wow, what a mess to be in, just narrowly escaping! I wonder how the chips will fall during the aftermath. A certain young lady has some serious explaining and soul searching to do. Is Travis forgiveness extending beyond the brush with death? Also, how will Thanksgiving shake out? Thank you ever so much for the early chapter - eager to read what’s in store for the gang.

Randy and Mav are falling hard for each other. It seems that the P’town express is rolling along nicely. Here’s hoping there won’t be any derailment, and that everything will come into fruition. I’m curious to hear where the bodies are buried with regards to the property Mav has in mind. As usual, a very enjoyable read. Thank you!

Sometimes it’s not just the destination, but the journey. Mav is so lucky to have a support system that’s got his back. Also, this romance seems more than puppy love - I’m rooting for them and is jumping at the opportunity to read what’s next.

Oh to be young and fumble around! I wonder if this will make it awkward at work, or if A & J will pretend nothing happened - not so difficult as nothing did in fact happen. Thoroughly enjoyed this chapter! It’s interesting to read where this is going, as Alarik if handling his day to day, while also reminiscing the past. Also, the mystery of the neighbor is intriguing - he’s still an enigma waiting to be cracked.

Wow, Maverick poked the hornets nest right away. Word got around - one of the few things that travel faster than light. A very interesting meet the family! Now, will he move there within the year? Was it up to me - I’d do it in a heartbeat. Fingers crossed for Randy. It’s nice that the boys reconnected.

Haha, props for setting them in P’town! It’s a cute place, even if I like Ogunquit more. Gaah, reminiscing about this made me think of New England during fall - it’s magical! Maverick leads a very busy life! Will he slow down to see the sights, or keep on hustling? I guess it’s time for a guy in every port first.

Imagine having a heart to heart with the narcissist sister from hell. The trials and tribulations of young Travis. Thoroughly enjoyed this installment! I think that John, Ryan and Maria are going to cook up storm in the family - I’m almost drooling over what Thanksgiving will bring. Still, my bloodlust isn’t satisfied. Travis should know better, but cut the dude some slack. ADD, a busy life, a long-distance relationship, plus the occasional slip-up and things are bound to go south every once in a while. No CAP without some drama! Now, is Taylor in kahoots with the kidnappers? I’d vote yes, and would have some henchman hired by Jake make her a meth addict and a valley girl as revenge. Guess I’m blood-thirsty since it’s back to the grind tomorrow 😈 Death by Oxi it shall be!
