‘Knock, knock,’ said the spider, rapping on the cocoon wall. ‘Argh, grah, gah,’ said the fly, slowly disintegrating inside. ~ The marble floors came to my rescue as I crept through the giant villa. Marble never creaked, whether you walked in the middle or to the sides. All you had to do was watch how hard you stepped. Marble made the most curiously harsh and dim ‘clank’ sound, whenever one wasn’t watching their pace, but I did. There was still no alarm, no police sirens and no people attacking

Writings on the Wall a Babylon City novel Hypergraphia is a behavioral condition characterized by the intense desire to write. Forms of hypergraphia can vary in writing style and content. It is a symptom associated with temporal lobe changes in epilepsy, which is the cause of the Geschwind syndrome, a mental disorder. Patients with hypergraphia exhibit a wide variety of writing styles and content. While some write in a coherent, logical manner, others write in a more jumbled style (somet

Hieronymus Bartholomeus Craven is certifiably insane. Luigi Provenzano isn't. Crave's wild stories call to him, though; what if the 'Dark Ones', those creatures he claims to see and kill, are real?

Nothing is important Nothing is real Nothing needs an opinion Nothing is really beautiful Tell me anything Nonsense Say yes or no Who cares? Nobody suffers Nobody cries Nobody is happy Nobody feels at all So why bother? No troubles No help No way No goal And of course All in all And in the end No Humanity

**Noom** Ah, the blazes of hell. How I had longed to be in this place, this moment! The DeLargo Palace was aflame, burning from its wretched foundation to its tainted roof, raining ashes and spitting embers as the fire did its work and consumed it, shingle by shingle, beam by beam. I hadn’t taken into account that the grenades might cause a fire, but I couldn’t have planned it better, had I known. This was plan D, the one version I hadn’t hoped to dream of; unfortunately, it came with its own

I really didn't know what to expect when I started reading, I was kinda set in this thought of "hey, when's the gay stuff coming?". Took me longer to realize what your story is about than I care to admit. The theme is even creepier for me, because I'm left-handed and absolutely unable to do anything useful with my right hand except for pointing and clicking. Also: I'd not be bothered if Blythe was all that and more in all things happy. Not every story has to have dampeners on the good things to make its point.

“Efrain said he asked him what was going on, and he told Efrain he ‘found a new toy.’ Can you believe that?” For some reason, Preston started grinding his teeth. He took the napkin he’d been crushing in his fist and ripped it into little pieces. “…fuckwad-jizzrag-dickweed-pig-jerk-asshole…” he muttered. -------------------------------------- This had me laugh so hard I almost dropped my bowl of tzatziki Great read!

On the Field, On the Dancefloor
metajinx commented on Dayne Mora's story chapter in On the Field, On the Dancefloor
I love this! I could guess who's perspective I was reading, but I do have to say it would be a bit easier to read if you wrote name of the person telling their part down. -
I'd have to go with delusion or sarcasm Thank you kindly!

It's a lot of fun to use different answers to those questions in a story And there are so many more questions one could ask (and answer in a million different ways)...

I did a bunch on research to make sure most of it (except for the god and soul part) is as accurate as possible, so you're probably right. I also don't believe there will ever be an end to hatred in general; it's easy to make up reasons for hating someone or something, but it's really hard to be tolerant. Thank you for commenting!

Time was of no essence for the spark and the temple never changed. Years flew by and filled the holy grounds with believers and priests and sacrifices, offerings, small attacks, big wars and prayer, but it was all the same to It who had once been Ashran. With time also came the realization of abilities only a soul had, and with this came self-awareness and opinions. Those were nothing like the awareness, thoughts and opinions It had had as a mere human, but It developed enough of a mind to dist

The divine spark that had once been Ashran felt every single soul being ripped out of Anu’s blessed custody. It heard their calls of pain and their wails for salvation, and every death pulled him closer to the city and away from the uncaring river banks. It had no eyes to see, no ears to listen, no mouth to call out, but only a body of flesh and bone needed those things to communicate. The divine spark saw the city as it really was, its seams and cracks and fissures, its dark and light places, e

Ashran stood at the edge of the cliffs, watching the black river waves crashing against the lime infused rocks. The river was so black, the boy could see every swell, crowned by white foam, race towards the shore. Black water, white rocks, black heavens above, and nothing in between but him and the city of Kutha a few miles farther inland. He could hear the distant shrieks of stones weighing up to three talents— as much as a grown man— being thrown by the giant ballistas, and he could feel the

How does an ancient god come to be and what does religion mean? When Ashran jumps off a cliff to save himself from ritual sacrifice, he meets The God Nergal and finds himself. And Nergal, well... A god does have to fulfil his role, doesn't he?

**Kelaste** “Noom?” “Yeah?” I hesitated, but only for a heartbeat, listening to the strong muscle in my chest jump against my ribs. “Why do you hate my father so much?” That question had sat at the back of my head ever since we found out who was trying to get me killed. After hearing my father’s name in my condo on that first, fateful night, there had been real hate in Noom’s eyes, and it had never left them completely. Even now, I could see it lurking in the back of his mind, ready to come

Hey! I think you misunderstood my side note, and I'm sorry for that Of course there will be a final chapter to wrap everything up in an orderly fashion, so you'll get the answers you want!

~*Jared*~ Training with Hector was never consistent. On some days, Jared got home in the afternoon. On other days, he barely made it home for dinner. Unfortunately, his exhaustion always was the same, since training only ended when Jared couldn't go on. He always went straight home, trying not to fall asleep at the wheel, dragging himself into the house and all but dropping dead as soon as he reached the bed. It put a strain on his relationship with Darwin, Jared knew that. The amount of socia

Chapter 1 - "Far From The Tree"
metajinx commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 1 - "Far From The Tree"
Ouuuh, good start. I want to jump out and drag little Steven back into the car, this won't end well for him! -
At this point, after reading silently through six chapters, I have to say how much I love this. Your realistic descriptions of intimacy in BDSM are wonderful, sexy and fascinating, and so much better than the crazy stuff I usually stumble over in more extreme stories. I can absolutely understand Felix and his feelings, and I also get Dorian's view of things. Perfect, well done!

"Rover screamed like he'd never screamed like before. He screamed like Mariah Carey at her worst." Best chapter beginning EVER. xD
