    Chapter 12

Yes, I think Fin handled it pretty well.

    Chapter 11

Yes, I'm glad your worries were settled in that regard.

    Chapter 6

You really caught many details in the story to have come to that harrowing thought! It's amazing.

    Chapter 5

Yes, exactly. Synan is pretty much the yin to Finian's yang.

    Chapter 4

Yes, in this tale, we did a bit of a spin on how Unicorns and Nightmares are perceived.

    Chapter 2

Yes, there's no one quite like Lee'en. He's something else, ha ha.

    Chapter 1

You'll have to forgive my late responses to your comments. Things have been quite chaotic in the lives of both writers recently. If you would be so kind to send me your candid thoughts when you reach that rape segment (even if in a private message), I would be much obliged.

Yep, that's totally what I meant but wasn't able to express as well as you just did. As do I.

We're glad you've been enjoying both KIAO and Cuddlefish so far. We have not seen the last of any of these characters.

He's loads more timid than Phen, but then again Phen did become bolder as the story went along...imagine if they met.

    So would we!

I’m sure no one would mind if Nubra and Sepida existed in real life.

They’re still not able to communicate very smoothly, but it’s a start!

Which one does he remind you of? Phen?
  15. When he had been restrained with his arms tied behind his back, and a sack was tossed over his head, Darifer flew into a panic. He thought that his days of being held captive were over. He hadn't been all that afraid with Duke Borev, someone whom he was familiar with and had learned how to handle. Being ambushed by strangers was infinitely worse. The lavender Astral dragon had to struggle to reign in his fear. He was shoved down into a chair, and the sack was finally pulled off. The first th

    Chapter 1

I'm pretty sure I babbled a bunch of incoherent comments about this already but, once again, I loved it!

    Chapter 9

No, just drowning in coursework assignments and hoping that the next three weeks go by fast (when this quarter/semester ends) so that I can finally catch a break...and coerce @Rambling Robin to write with me.
  19. When my arm was placed in a sling and I was told that recovery could take a full month, I was relieved that it hadn't been my dominant one. I had broken bones in the past and could use my opposite hand to write, but it wasn't nearly as fast and fluid as my dominant one. I studied best when I wrote down or typed out notes, so I figured I was a bit more of a visual than an auditory learner. On the downside, that also meant that I had to work harder at listening to others as I grew older. R

    Chapter 13

Well...at least Kris died of natural causes? I want to know who the “others” are that Keith tried to warn him about.

    Cuddlefish

Yes, the last time things finally settled down for us, Crossing the Moon happened. I sure hope lightning strikes twice and we’ll be able to write up a storm on a story (any story, really).

    Cuddlefish

We do apologize for the snail pace in updates. It's out of our hands due to crazy schedules. Robin can literally only write for a few minutes per day just before her classes begin, IF her battery doesn't die. The fact that she's probably using her mobile is a testament to her dedication to this tale of ours. However, the story itself is flowing smoothly towards a predetermined ending and a sequel that I'm oh so eager to work on, I practically dream about it.

    Chapter 2 Rose

“I’m stuck in a corn field and am lost.” - Well, damn. LMAO. She can't tell the difference between cane and corn? “Oh yeah, I think I was bit by a snake on my ankle. It really hurts!” - ...I don't like where this is going. A 45 plus year old lady tries to belt out the females parts in Evanescence's Bring Me to Life with unsatisfied passion for all patrons to hear. (Sadly I have seen her in five different bars at in three different cities, and she has not improved at all.) - LMAO!!! Dying...dying of laughter. I’d be impressed that her man can keep up being called that many times. - I'm wondering if he even was really her boyfriend at all and not just a friend or relative. I couldn’t help it. I fell asleep during her monologue. Apparently I snored and that’s what stopped her continuous prattle, she apologized and hung up. - LMAO! What have we learned from this? Always, ALWAYS silence your phone when you go to bed. I have to admit, that one was a little crazy. But, there are still worse dates (or "dates?" like in this case). For example, one of my other besties (not Robin) ended up going out with a guy who was apparently married in another state and one of her male co-workers finally clued her in several dates later.

    Piper

Ha! I've had worse dates. But, I've had good ones to balance it out. No one's perfect and don't be so hard on yourself. I personally think you did a great job. No high drama, no one got in a fight, no spilt drinks on dresses...yep, you survived well. 🤣

Pip’s parents want him to really be happy...even if their ideas of what would make him happy didn’t quite match up.
