It is a study in the contrast between chaos and order. Benedetto, in choosing defiance, foments disorder. At the Rossi palazzo, what could easily be tension is complete harmony.
Benedetto will receive judgment whether he wants it or not
We already know what Fenn faces from what happened to Ain. What we don't know is how Fenn's shadow power will react. He has been able to almost create sentient life.
In some ways this reminds me of the Battle of Vienna in 1683. An Ottoman force of 150,000 was besieging Vienna and the city was on its last legs. The King of Poland led a surprise cavalry charge over and down the hills, trapping the Ottomans between the walls and the river. The cavalry numbered 20,000 and was the largest such charge in recorded history. Using an inferior force, this ended Ottoman attempts to conquer Europe forever.
Benedetto preaches certainty with vagueness and listeners hear what they want to hear. It's a subtle poison. The antidote is being mixed just as subtlety.
The brunt of the nutjob queen's revenge is being focused on Neven. She seems immune to powers, but hopefully she can meet her end in a spectacularly painful way.
