  1. Alright! Chapter 6 is here. What is Case up to now? Will we learn more about David? There's only one way to find out...read.
  2. You and Robbie make a handsome couple. It's about time for another picture of the two of you together. Are you as tall as he is?
  3. That's the response I expected...and I don't want you to ruin the story for anyone...especially not for me, so I am not going to ask you privately. I'll happily wait to see. As for what you've revealed about David so far, he is mentioned in chapters 1, 2, and 5. The most interesting thing was in chapter 2: "Even though you're a pain" sounds like something an older brother would say...not what a seven year old friend would say. A friend wouldn't give a gift to a friend who is a pain, certainly not an engraved necklace. So, my best guess is that David is an older brother who is no longer around for some reason. I will not speculate on the reason. Anxiously awaiting chapter 6.
  4. OK. Who is David?

  6. Wow! this topic has received a lot of comments since I started it just 6 days ago. My purpose was simply to point out that gays do not have to eschew religion just because some religious people turn their backs on gays. There are a number of churches which are "gay friendly". If you didn't read the first post, please do, or at least look at the website http://www.gaychurch.org/ which contains a directory of such churches. I realize there are a lot of questions about the definition of "gay friendly" and questions about non-Christian religions which aren't answered there. There will always be some shortcomings in such sources of information. Perhaps another GA member can find it for us. That said, those members who consider themselves Christian may be able to find a place of worship which they consider appropriate for them through the above site.
  7. I am enjoying reading The Perks of Loving You. It's a very lively and well written story. It moves at a steady pace with no long descriptive passages or philosophical musings. The story is as lively as the life of its main character, Casey. He always has something happening. I also appreciate the absence of grammar and spelling errors which serve to distract the reader in many stories. Although he is only 17, Camilo has a polished, mature style that keeps you involved in the story. Casey and his former best friend, Lucas, have become very competitive to the point of being rivals in everything they do, especially in high school athletics. There are some clues in the story which indicate that a significant change in their relationship is about to occur. I urge you to take a look at The Perks of Loving You. You will be glad you did. Keep up the good work, Camilo; I'm looking forward to reading chapter 6.
  8. Camilo has released the fifth chapter of The Perks of Loving You. You may read the story here. Please discuss the story in this forum. I will post comments later today.

  13. Very unexpected ending indeed! I don't remember such a cliffhanger from Dom before. This really is a new wrinkle in the story. I think Nick and Logan are not the only ones who "like" Jesse. Am I stating the obvious?

  16. Jack, Chase has been posting new chapters more frequently than weekly. Take a deep breath. Relax. His school schedule may change his posting frequency, but no need to fret just yet. The correct spelling is "traveled". It is spelled with two l's in the UK, but Chase lives in a different kingdom. http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/traveled
  17. Are you one of those people who doesn't know how to walk? Good luck to you on your decision about school. I think English Lit makes a lot of sense for you with your obvious writing talent. I wouldn't think a German University would be high on your list for that. You can always travel there during the summer...but you knew that. Best wishes, Chase.

    Not really "tomorrow"

Robert, it's good to hear you are progressing well. I understand the desire to get back to work. It feels like you really have accomplished something when you return. It's also reassuring that the boss hasn't figured out they can do without you. I returned to work three weeks after my prostate cancer surgery. The doctor had suggested half days initially, but I worked full days from day one and felt great the whole time. I realize your treatments affect your stamina considerably more than my experience did. Take care of yourself. Your day will be here soon enough.
