How incredibly sad , that you keep killing so that others may live , after 800 years the burden must be crippling ! Maxthane’s instincts to seek out Grimm , maybe the ones that save his humanity, but distance him even more from his father! Grimm may help Maxthane find the way that his father has lost. That Grimm could probably just walkout of there , but remains and ‘is not going anywhere’ , speaks of his character. But it also seems that he’s staying for a more defined purpose.

Styx is a little naive too , along with needing skills , he needs to be able to read people and understand their actions . He’s surprised by Dojo’s actions , his mothers and Maxthanes. There are more often than not far more complicated reasons for the things people do ( especially where family is concerned) Sabreeza is clearly in the employ of Salidar , that means some of the Knights would be working for/ with Salidar too! So now Styx just needs to meet Kirra and Co , save Prism and get to Neredos. No pressure at all!

The council , all of them , or at least a few have an interest in the investigation being delayed or at least conducted by people of their choosing . That Lady Alsha has by -passed them while they hide in their bureaucratic ivory tower is bound to create waves. Kirra’s a perceptive and observant individual , he must realise he needs allies , and that this company is different from the last lot he served with.

Well I can’t say I’m sorry Jakkel met his end , ( the cat I’m less certain about) I do sympathise with Grimm though , it must be heartrending to use the gift of life to take life , particularly if you are possessed of conscience . I’m wondering how much danger Grimm really is in by the ‘him’ he and Prism mention and even who ‘he’ is . An alliance between Maxthane and Grimm may keep them both safe while Styx and Prism quest . Now that Prism and Styx have escaped , have they earned their freedom?

Brings to mind the adages; ‘ who watches the watchers’ and ‘power corrupts , absolute power corrupts absolutely’ , the Knights have a sorry reputation although Kirra and Lady Alsha don’t seem to be too far gone. At least they admit there is corruption in their Ranks. Let’s hope they heed the warning of the peasant and retain this awareness.

So Billy gets closure too, fabulous. Maybe a strong friendship will develope. With the Dean reporting the incident to the police , maybe it will receive proper attention .

So Kellen has a bad experience in his past too, explains his patience. Perhaps Cid picked up on this , explaining his tolerance of Kellen's company. Does the fishing story and release of the bass finally trigger a break through ?

I’m glad Cid escaped with a mere assault ( terrifying given his past) but intention is everything and Kurt is nothing but a despicable rapist ! He’s a sexual offender and should have it tattooed on his forehead !

While Billy and Frank seem headed for bliss, with Kellen sick I fear Cid is headed for trouble....

An unconventional Valentine , fantastic, a hug Cid doesn’t want to end first even better , that Cid is clued into Kellans attraction and sincerity and doesn’t head for the hills , the best !!!

Emotions are such a minefield , especially to the uninitiated . Sometimes it’s best to go for what’s right in front of you , the sure thing ! I don’t think Billy will go wrong with Frank.

Kellen definitely seems to have the right approach. The Cid whisperer? Cid seems more receptive anyway.His moods flipping between shy and sharp and spiky are quite visceral.

From nuisance to protector , interesting ! Kellen seems to be just what Cid needs. I don’t think Kurt is one to give in so easily though, he’ll probabky just get more devious!

Billy certainly seems more mature and Frank’s just right for him, I resonate more with Cid , but until you’re absolutely truthful with yourself , you can’t be truthful to others.

Billy’s better off with Frank . Cid’s Better off alone , until he gets help . But that’s not how life works , is it? The pictures going to complicate things...

So now they’re both hurting ! At least some honesty came out , on both sides . Not enough though. Billy is right take some space. Some serious soul searching needs to be done on both sides.

Well both Cid and Billy have now had the talk , hope the outcome and conclusions they come to are what they both need .

Ok so Cid has a really bad experience , and it takes a really long time to let people in again after such a trauma, but I’m with Roxy , don’t string them on! Thankfully friends have right to be brutally honest ( most of the time).

Both Cid and Frank are only being honest in installments , Cid needs to tell Billy why he really is not interested and Frank needs to tell Billy he is. Right now Zbillys inthe pound seats for a lot of pain.

Give him until Spring time? This sounds like one huge cop out! You either know or don’t if you want someone and in what capacity , it feels like Cid is leading Billy on ! I hope this is not a recipe for disaster.

I agree is Frank just being a good friend? Is he advising if you love something let it go? Are his hints in the tales of his Mom and Uncle intended to scare Billy . Damn , more questions than answers !

Billy and Kurt , such different approaches , I much prefer Billy’s ! Cid can’t keep running ! I agree with @BlindAmbition a really loud and public scene may be called for . Then again does Cid want that sort of attention?

Gosh , befriending Cid is akin to the trials of Sisyphis . The stalkers not helping. I empathise with Billy’s exhaustion !
