  1. Sunday “How is it Billy and I keep missing each other? We’re either physically missing each other at school and with phone calls and such or we’re missing each other’s feelings for one another. Somehow, we just can’t seem to meet in the middle. How can we cross this bridge and find each other?” I read what I wrote here over and over again last night and it got me to wondering. Billy was so distant with me on Friday…did I really make him mad at me? I mean, I really dropped the ball

    Chapter 8

I grew up similarly in the 80s during the AIDS crisis. Everyone was homophobic back then, but none more-so than my school-mates. The worst thing one guy could call another back then was the ‘F’ word that means Gay. I stayed in the closet then out of personal safety and because I grew up in a religious household. It was a very confusing time. Through Comsie, I can relive those years as they should have been. He’s even inspired me to write my own ‘memoire’ alla Billy Chase. This story is extra-special though, somehow. I’m very much enjoying it!
  3. Progressing. 😉
  4. I didn’t see this in time for today, but the sentiment is so good I’ll avail myself of it tomorrow. 🍰♥️

    Chapter 2

Ethan…don’t give into fear. Don’t live your life alone. No ridicule or hurt feelings will ever hurt as bad as going it alone all your life and living trapped on the inside.

    Segment 11: The Mask

Thank you so much for reading!
  8. What a beautiful guy! Even his speaking voice sounds like he’s singing. ♥️
  9. The heat of India always amazed Moira. She’d been to many desert places, many tropical locales, and many sultry summertime cities in her time, but the heat of India was unique. The heat of India seeps into your body, into your very soul! All but Mughamir and Nommo were affected by the stifling heat. Both had lived all their lives in places just as hot if not hotter than Sambhal. What seemed to fascinate Mughamir more than heat was the number and density of people that crowded the streets i
  10. Hope you feel better, Comsie. 🫖☕️
  11. Speaking of teenage reminiscences… I had my JOEseph experience to this song. Those that read Brandon Smiling know what I’m talking about. 😉
  12. ♥️🎂🎂🍦🎂🎂♥️
  13. I agree, Comsie. A fine artist must always work first for themselves. There are jobs out there where you have to write for a boss on their time, but this isn’t that kind of job. Admirers and fans of any fine artist are ‘along for the ride’. Like a Mom in the kitchen baking cookies, the artist’s results come in their own good time. When the cookies are finally served, you thank Mom for the effort she put into them because it’s done with love. You don’t complain that they aren’t coming out fast enough! That’s what a spoiled brat does. As with any author, enjoy the product when it comes and be along for the ride. Don’t beat them like a horse you think is going too slow!

  15. I can’t talk to what the female experience is with being gay or trans because I am male, but I can cite some observations I’ve made over the years as an American gay male. I think guy-on-guy homophobia can get very bad. Murderously so in some instances. Where straight and questioning males seem to be able to enjoy the reality of lesbian intimacy, these same guys can find gay intimacy abhorrent. I think it is a fear of emasculation, especially among questioning males. This fear appears to be visceral and instinctive for some guys. Their insecurity with their own sexuality is such that any challenge to it needs to be confronted with overwhelming force on pain of perceived social emasculation before females and male peers. This can make things dangerous for gay males who’s very existence seems to challenge these insecure males. This is particularly true when the males are young and just finding themselves socially and sexually. American society has either inadvertently (or by design in some quarters) given license to males to ‘defend their sexual honor’ by any means necessary. This license has opened the door to bullying and outright violent crime being visited on gay males by some straight or questioning males. As homosexuality becomes more normalized across the nation, this license is slowly being revoked, but it is still in effect in less progressive parts of the country and among older generations. Because of this, I think that gay males in America do still face significant challenges to their physical and social safety in society. It is far less than what it was when I was a boy a long time ago, but it is still a significant challenge.
  16. Here’s another new one that just came up on my Spotify Release Radar. It has an interesting Middle Eastern/psychedelic feeling about it:

  18. Ah, Stranger Things…that reminds me. The Stranger Things kid and Weezer covered this 80s classic!

  20. Friday So, Billy was back from suspension today and we did have lunch to talk about the ‘incident’. I was mostly quiet while I listened to Billy’s side of things. He was, kind of like, it was ‘whatever’ to him. That it didn’t mean a whole lot. I imagine that was mostly because they punished him for getting into the fight. I’m sure it wasn’t his fault just like Bobby had said! Speaking of which, Billy barely talked about Bobby’s involvement in the whole thing and he didn’t mention
