My goodness, Bran Bran! Your cousin Sharon is a pistol! How is it that she isn’t already taken and married with 2.5 kids and a hot husband? That look of love she gave me when I came over to visit rather haunts me. I’m a confirmed gay man and that’s never likely to change, but someone like Sharon might be enough to get me to bat for the other team, I’m just sayin’! She’s definitely a part of your prize winning family, that’s for sure! I apologize for heaving a large dose of ‘Fem’ on you guys

Sighhh....come on, Marvel....

I notice that a lot of these reviewers and followers of these reviewers have an agenda. They’ve gotten political about these shows! It seems these anti-Marvel reviewers can find political messages in places where there are none in these shows! It’s even worse for the Star Wars crowd…trust me on this! They complain about the ‘Wokeness’ of the shows and pushing ‘Liberal Agendas’. These reviewers are obviously on the more conservative side of things and are members of the ‘Anti-Woke’ movement. This, along with a lot of other frustrations these people seem to have with their private lives, seems to be the driving force behind their vitriol. She-Hulk is watching just like her comic books read! They’re practically taking verbatim things I read in her books in the 1980s! So, if there are messages being sent by her story in the show…they’re long standing ones popular in the Reagan era! So, as far as liberal agendas go, She-Hulk and her story are creatures of one of the most conservative times in American history! I’m getting a kick out of her show just like I did with Ms. Marvel which was wonderful! On top of this, I’m waiting with excitement for the Star Wars story ‘Andor’ which looks very intriguing to a Star Wars geek like me! The ‘reviewers’ are already bashing Andor and it hasn’t even come out yet! They’re losing their credibility pushing their own agendas, these reviewers, IMHO. They need to tone it down and stick with plot points, acting, and direction and not message signaling. -
Ah yes, that good ol’ testosterone - suddenly your voice is doing weird things, you get hair in funny places, you Hulk out (if you are lucky), your hair darkens, and your Adam’s Apple starts to grow! Welcome to manhood Cai! Hope you enjoy the trip. Hehehe!

Excellent! Thank you for reading! Yes, next, we’ll be going into Darkest Africa to find something as old as mankind itself!

Friday I’m blushing right now… He was staring at me almost the whole time I was there at his place! I mean, staring! With anyone else I would have thought he was being totally creepy about it, but…not Billy. Billy can stare at me like that forever if he wanted to! I think I saw love there! I really do! He was so blushy and fidgety and talkey, Hehehe! Boy, Billy can rattle on nonstop for hours and not catch his breath! It is beyond adorable! Gosh, oh gee…I really think h

Wednesday Oh, Holy Hell! I woke up this morning with a frigging ZIT coming up on my face! Not only do I have to stress over school, and Billy, and making sure my Dad isn’t working himself to death, but now I have to get a goddamn zit too? Just when things were starting to look up between Billy and me, my hormones decide to completely betray and flake on me! It’s so not fair! Now, no one will be able to look at me without their eyes going directly to this gigantic red pock mark on

I gotta say…Billy’s mom pisses me off! She really doesn’t have his back on much of anything. That said, Bravo to my Billy! ❤️

Monday Ugh, just this morning before school I remembered I have a history presentation to do! Oh, noes! Can I tell you how much I hate getting up in front of people and doing things? One of my private nightmares is being made to take Drama and do plays in front of audiences! By now, Nameless Hacker, you should know me well enough to figure that I, pretty much, can’t stand being the center of attention. Particularly, when it comes to my fellow High School ‘peers’. As long as he would live, he would never tire of the sunset behind the Great Pyramids! Even from the apartment that he and his family had lived for three generations, Mughamir could see the ancient wonders of the world from his rooftop! He never missed a sunset, no matter what was going on! Before the maġrib prayers, Mughamir would make it his daily ritual to watch as the sun set upon the pyramids. Father did not always understand, but Grandfather did! Grandfather had been a porter at

Oh dear… That’s awful! Thankfully Spencer is his own person or zombie or something and Ryan Grantham is only the model! I know I was dismayed when I found out one of my favorite models went to jail for domestic abuse. His mug shot was just tragic! But, he’s only a model and not the ‘reality’ of my character.

My goodness! A beautiful cover of one of my favorite songs! I wish he had this on YouTube I’d replace the Weeknd’s version with this one on my ‘One True Temptation’ soundtrack! 😮

Rumor has it that MCU Doctor Doom will be hinted at for this one! I’d love it if they finally do Doom justice since he’s the arch arch villain of the Marvel Universe! -
The wonderful thing about this picture…nobody around cares! It’s normal! We made it, guys! We’re normal! Unremarkable!

There is no death. Only change. He will be with you always and you will, one day, be reunited with him. -
Perhaps more than anybody, I’m interested in seeing the final chapter of this book. Since I have a couple of stories that depend on this one, I live at Comsie’s pleasure as to what direction I need to take to make things consistent and make sense. However, I am happy to wait. I know the last chapter is coming. In the mean time, to those waiting for this one and you haven’t done so already, I encourage you to explore ‘My Only Escape’ by Comsie. It is a truly touching story and one he just recently finished after years of bleed-writing. Writing can be like stir-fry - fast but good or it can be like pot roast - slow cooked, but deeply satisfying and where you can taste the love put into it. In either case, appreciate the cook for what they do because it is done, in their own way, with love.

Where are you from, and what is the LGBTQ+ community in your area like?
MrM replied to Cscampbell's topic in The Lounge
I live in the Hillcrest neighborhood which is the Center Of All Rainbows as far as San Diego, CA is concerned. I don’t know for how long though, as Hillcrest is gentrifying. San Diego is the most conservative of the three main cities in California. Though we do, currently, have a gay mayor, there are still areas in the City and the County that gays best not go to because homophobia is rife there. Mostly, these places are in the Eastern and Southern parts of our county. Parts of East County are still very ‘Old West’ with very traditional beliefs and a very strong hard-line protestant religious ethic. This is changing, though, as newer generations bring fresher thinking. The Southern part is dominated by traditional Mexican culture which can be homophobic at times. The culture of Machismo is very important there and gays are considered an antithesis to this, particularly effeminate ones. I grew up in the Southern part of San Diego and was sufficiently worried about coming out that I stayed in the closet all my young life. That was partly due to the environment, but also the times. The 80s were a pretty homophobic period to come-of-age despite the heroic work of LGBTQ+ activists during that time. The homophobia may be harder to overcome in Southern San Diego as these beliefs against homosexuality are very old and very strong and thus difficult to change. However, change is slowly progressing down there too. I hope that Hillcrest can keep its Gay identity as it continues to be fairly vibrant, though not as much as it was at one time. We’ve lost a lot of bars and clubs that used to be raging, flaming successes in the past. COVID further decimated the Gay scene in Hillcrest and opened the neighborhood up for development firms hungry to build high-rise condos near Downtown. I understand the Castro is undergoing a similar gentrification process with gay establishments disappearing in favor of fancy restaurants and expensive condos. West Hollywood seems to be holding tight and continues to be a very vibrant Gayborhood, though COVID did some damage there too. Palm Springs is a rising Gaytropolis in California! Many of my friends have moved there due to lower prices and a dominating gay political and economic influence. -

I admit to have had doubts about this one, but mostly because I’m not familiar with Ms. Marvel. That said, I’m actually enjoying Ms. Marvel more than Kenobi - and I’ve been waiting for Kenobi for, oh, before you were born, Luke. It was a perfect coming-of-age send-up! I look forward to the next episode. -
