  2. Probably a cousin to Australia except with a California flag, sunglasses, and sparkeling tooth implants. Extra muscles too since he has, like, his big stupid brother 'Merica.

    Chapter 16

It never got easier. But, I think I'm coming into a new world now, though. One where this part of the story might not make any sense to a younger audience. How wonderful that is!
  10. If I could give this more stars I would, so I will! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Without exaggeration, this is the beginning of one of the greatest vampire epics I have ever read and I AM a vampire oficianado. I practically am a vampire since I like going to goth clubs at night and drinking V8s with vodka. I also happen to love Anne Rice's works and have had email conversations with her about them. I have also read Dracula a few times and still mourn Bela Legosi's death. So . . . there are my qualifications. Take my assessment seriously or feel my dark Elder's wrath! Gone From Daylight is the GREATEST VAMPIRE EPIC of them all! It is a crime it isn't published in all of it's glory next to that Twilight nonsense! It's a THOUSAND times better than Twilight! It gives Anne's Vampire Chronicles a run for their money! READ THIS STORY! Become a bloody addict! Then come worship me at my crypt for siring you all, my fledglings! What is dead may never die!

    Ryan's Heart

A beautiful counterpoint to 'New Kid In School'. I love these multiperspective stories that give both sides of the love story! Ryan, though, is a particularly special character to me. He, kind of, really exists in my world. He's grown up now and a bartender at my local Gay Dive. But, he has the strawberry hair, the hazel eyes, the sweet disposition and a bottom that won't quit! He also mixes the strongest drinks in Hillcrest! ❤️ Ryan's and Comsie's 'take' on him!

  12. Adding my peculiar angle on things, I'll give my mystic's impressions: I do not know for what purpose your stars have aligned again but it was no coincidence that you just 'happened' to find someone on Tinder that you thought might be your old friend form 8 years ago, that you then found again through research, and were able to make such a solid reconnection with him - despite the fact that this guy was NOT the guy from Tinder. I see breadcrumbs that were laid down for you to follow to find him again. Whether it be for erotic love or for filial love there is a strong sense in me that you two were fated to return to each other's lives. As all the other's have said, embrace all possibilities as possible and validate them with your truth: your sexual orientaion and awereness. You are not the boy you once were. You are more. So will he be. Expectations may be different than when you were children. You may find a more fulfilling relationship with him whether it be love or friendship. Good luck and blessings. I hope in faith that you have found someone again who is very important.

    Chapter 13

I'm so glad Chris hadn't been in my school doing this to me back in the day. There was a reason they left me alone in school. I was pegged 'Effing Crazy'.

Someday my Prince will come. Someday I'll find my love and how thrilling that moment will be when the Prince of my dreams comes to me. He'll be in a class all by himself . . .

  20. Indeed, but Benji is one of the flowers in the English garden of pretty, pretty boys that I'd like to call 'friends'. He only plays a Snowflake for me when it suits us. Happy Thanksgiving from the Colonies, my English Rose! 🌹🌹
  21. Happy Birthday Northie From Somewhere Up North!
  22. Funny. I was like the dude in the glasses (not mean). But when JOse wanted to, I totally rejected him and ran out of his room. It would have been better if he'd asked me before hand rather than trying it in my sleep, but still . . . the last scene with glasses guy hearting his picture with Twinkilicious . . . that would have been me with JOse if such tech existed way back then.
  23. I have something of a jaundiced view of online dating in that it just doesn't work for me at all. It might be because of my preference to meet someone face to face sooner than later after an online meeting. I don't mind chatting with folks that I probably will never get the chance to meet in person any time soon, but someone I might want to form a romantic bond with I really want to meet in person. So many more senses are employed when you can be with someone in person, even just over coffee. A person's personality is 3/4 communicated through body language. A person who's picture or writing ability or video presence is muted by bad technique or technology actually might PREVENT a meeting that might have happened naturarally if two people were together in the flesh. There is also the tragedy of 'distance relationships'. Two people meet online and really get into one another but they happened to be thousands of miles apart with no resources to bridge the distance. It's just heartbreaking! Then there is a new thing that I've been confronted with again and again in recent hears. . . fake profiles! I can no longer trust that what I'm talking to is even human, much less someone that might actually be interested in me. Spam-bots are bits of code that are smart enough to become an account and use cursory interactions to fool you into thinking you are talking to someone real. They often exist to fool a user into giving up personal info to be used nefariously. Catfishers, or people representing themselves as someone else for the purposes to gain a user's trust for nefarious puposes, are also a danger. I've run into a lot of Spam-bots on Grindr and Match.com. Its very demoralizing to know that no real human is interested in you there, but you are encouraged to keep your account in the hopes that 'maybe this time' this person is real only to be disappointed again. I have since stopped using online services because of this. I'm an older gay guy. I realize my limitations in finding someone, but I don't want to keep being reminded of it by systems that lie to me. I acutally use Meetup.com over any other online system. This ingenious social media service's purpose is to get people to meet for real and it posts user created MeetUps in a locality to help real people meet other real people using the leverage of Web Based social media technology to facilitate this. I actually run a gay meetup group and I've made a lot of real live, flesh and blood, gay friends and possible lovers through it.
