Even Luca had to admit that he had never seen anyone move faster than Eamon in that moment. Eamon had taken the knife from Luca’s torso and opened Meredith’s stomach in one swift movement, and kicked her gurgling body away while applying pressure to Luca’s wound. Luca was more shocked at Meredith’s bloody spewing than at his own injuries, which hadn’t even begun hurting before the girl was on the ground. He passed out shortly after, and only had glimpses of memories and light and people talking

You'll have to keep reading to find out what happens with both of their storylines! Thank you so much for keeping with the story!

I think the new characters should hopefully enter the story in a fantastic way - I hope you agree as time goes on! Keep reading to find out what happens with Luca's storyline Thank you for the review!

And I've missed writing about them! I think the additions to the cast (though mentioned in The Alliance but never really explored) are really going to make a great and fun impact. Stay tuned to see what happens! Thanks!

“Yes, your majesty,” Talia said, drawing out the last word with such a ridiculous flair that it was impossible not to know it was mocking. The queen looked at her long and hard, a beautiful set of emerald eyes giving the most piercing gaze. Her mouth twitched slightly, and Talia smiled. After a few seconds, the queen couldn’t help but smile back and give a laugh. “You have got to stop calling me that Talia. You know that you can call me whatever you want.” Queen Carmine Cathcart’s face was k

Thank you so much for all of your compliments! I'm really glad that you could enjoy this as much as I have. I've just finished outlining the second book and am excited to get it going! I hope you stick around, because it certainly will be explosive!

The girl ran through the muck and slime, mosquitos buzzing around her while blood and sludge ran down her body in streaky lines. Where is he? She wanted to scream in agony with every step she took, every muscle in her body aching and the hundreds of tiny holes in her body searing with all the fire of Nabius. He put the needles in and out. In and out. In and out. The soles of her feet hurt the worst, where she had been punctured at least thirty or forty times per foot. She now pressed those wound

Book two in The Alliance Series.
-
Yeah, I think most people saw it coming, which is fine considering A & C knew it but didn't speak it aloud. Sorry it wasn't satisfactory for you, but the arrival in Tomacia has always been my plan to end this first part to break the story up a little. Hopefully you like it as it goes on - a lot is about to happen! Thanks for the review!

You'll have to see what happens - I've got a whole lot planned for many characters, and a few others are going to be taking on some bigger roles!

It's on its way!

Thank you so much!!!

Definitely was a rough spot to end the book in, but I needed some kind of a marker to end it and ending the mission seemed to fit. I can tell you this much - no, it will not be easy. Book 2 is on its way!

Haha its already in the works and I will be posting Chapter 1 soon! And you'll have to see.

“Tell me.” Ysabel sat at her desk, strumming bladed fingers over its hard stone surface. Each click echoed through the room, which was otherwise entirely silent. Only Marcus, her new captain, stood across from the desk. He was rigid as ever, and his dark skin made him the center of the room against the white marble that made up everything else. He was large and imposing towering over the desk, but was still dwarfed by the massive size of the room. “The order should be arriving tonight. Do yo

At least Alex seems to be warming up towards me, Carlin thought as he marched on. Mikhail was to his right, Talia to his left, and Alexandre walked ahead with Barclay and Roark. He wished that Alexandre hadn’t been wearing his armor and cloak as they walked, because he knew that the black leather pants Alex was wearing that day made his butt look shapely. Carl discreetly adjusted himself, aching for release with the man that he cared for so much. Nandra’s was so wonderful. I hadn’t held him

The captain’s retaliation had been predictable to say the least, in Talia’s opinion. I could have heard you coming from a mile away. The large man that had commanded troops A14 and A15 was obviously angry over his being dismissed, and she knew that her brother had wounded the captain’s pride the previous day. The face she saw on him when Alex so blatantly disrespected him was one that all proud men wore. Grown men become children when they don’t get what they want. And now you’re here to th

“What did you say to them Alex? They even had their smith sharpen our weapons. Nice gal,” Mikhail said. Alex had expected his group to question him as soon as they had departed, but was surprised that Mikhail was the first to demand answers. Alex looked out over the edge of the small boat they were on, leaning on the rails around the edge. He knew that his companions had all tried to be subtle about their leaning in to listen to his answer, but he resisted the urge to roll his eyes. Carl had

They made it through Devan’s borders. Luca breathed a sigh of relief, and sat back in his chair at his – or rather Alexandre’s – huge desk. Getting to that point was a much bigger step than it might seem at first. If the group was caught, not only would they arouse the suspicions of an already paranoid Devan Di Coteau, but they would likely also have to provide a reasonable explanation for escorting a Tomacian noble home safely. A pending alliance would never be accepted by Devan, and the missio

Thank you! It was nice to write from Talia's viewpoint for once! I hope you keep enjoying it

Thank you! There will be lots of lovey-dovey in the future, so I wouldn't worry about that And I'm pretty skeptical too! Though I've outlined what all I want to do, I am pretty good at changing my mind and letting things go...

Thanks!!! I'm glad to be back to the states and writing again

“I’ll be credited with the death of your father, Alex.” Carl looked towards the handsome young man that he had been on and off with lately, and noted the grimace on his face as soon as he had said the words. Alexandre wistfully looked up at him, making direct eye contact while trying to hold composure. Eventually he sighed and stopped staring at the tall Tomacian, looking down and then back to the prisoner’s garb that he was supposed to be changing in to. “I know.” It was just about dawn

I can’t do this, Luca thought. The huge black desk before him made him seem even smaller, a pale blond dot presiding over an ocean of ebony and silver. Luca remembered the intimidation that he felt while sitting on the other side of the desk, looking up at the late Darion Di Coteau. Somehow, he didn’t feel that he would look nearly as intimidating when seated behind the large piece of furniture himself. I am short, thin, and untrained. Who would find me intimidating? I can’t even use a basic swo
