  1. Once again
  2. Hey, Once again, the comments are even more interesting as the story itself! Sorry James, it doesn't mean that your story is not fun . What I mean is that its amazing how many people participate at your stories . You have a way to suggest a lot of comments and you did it to each story you wrote. Thats a gift and you are a master in it . BTW, I like your writing, to put two stories in one. Waiting the time you will connect the two in one, with certainly a lot of cliffhangers to come . I don't comment a lot to "let the Music Play", but my silence doesn't mean I don't enjoy it . Go on James, for our pleasure, and I'm sure also for yours. Take care and be happy, as I am to be able to read!
  3. Happy Birthday Marty !!! Hope you have a great day with a lot of music and fun BTW, are you really 60 ? You looks so young in your posts ! And why so sad in your songs at "AwesomeDude" ? Hupps ! You are not the singer I meant ! my age is perhaps (once more !) the reason why I'm confused : I mixed up Marty and Camy ! Sorry old friend, "Alzheimer" is watching..... Still I wish you to be always happy and enjoying your days .
  4. Its not a ranking. You can choice more than one answer as i did in my comment. And the word "belief" is perhaps not the best one, I meant religious belief (the way you behave, your "moral code") I have certainly to improve my English knowledge  .
  5. In the past, the present or in the future you had or you will have to take important decisions, with a largest influence in the unfolding of your life. For me, it was twice, the first time when I was 23, I decided to live with the woman I love, even as a Bi, and the second time when I was 26, I decided to refuse an offer to work and live in the States and to learn a new profession. How was or is it for you ?
  6. Happy Birthday, Drewbie! Wish you a long life a the best way to be what you are, a "Virgo": the Virgo person is practical, industrious, efficient, intelligent, full of sass, thorough, methodical, exacting, precise, detail-oriented, observent, work and service oriented, painstaking, pragmatic, discreet, health and cleanliness conscious, mentally active, and flexible. They may be over critical at times, and they can be prone to being perfectionistic, which makes them valuable to any profession, and specially valuable as friend .
  7. My comment has nothing to do with the topic Hey Fran
  8. Do you remember your topic:
  9. Hey, I did with my comment Not to quarrel about It's now up to you both ! Perhaps Ian has something to say ?
  10. Wow Benji! You are rough with the kid ! The situation when we were young is not the same as today . Everybody has at least the right to have and to tell his opinion. I like kids who have the courage to do it, even when we don't agree . I had to fight 70 years (YES !) to have this courage. Elders shout better understand the liveliness of the youngsters . A good day for both (live and let live) .
  11. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN Yes, you are awesome, and I will never forget your nice comments about my posts You are an example for a lot of us, happy to be who you are and I wish you a long, peaceful, healthy and wealthy life . As Wiki says about Leos : Fiery determination and the desire to be important often rule their life. They usually pursue their goals doggedly and use their charisma to sway others to their cause. Open and honest, Leos tend towards the philosophical and tend to hold great idealisms about how things should be
  12. Hey James, thanks for your prompt answer I will perhaps start later my own poll. It just interested me to see if the same happened in the States like it was in Europe, the closing of a lot of theaters and the crowd forgetting that cinema is the Seventh Art .
  13. Nice poll James . I would like to add a few other questions to your poll : How many times did you go to see a movie in a cinema (no home cinema !) in the last 12 months ? Never Once Once a quarter Once a month More I don't remember Can you edit it or shall I post my own poll ? BTW, when I was at the university, I went to see a movie (most unknown "art"-movies) twice a week ! Later, as business, part of my job was to "hunt" movies and projects and to imagine how much money we could make with them. I had sometimes to "check" up to 15 movies one after the other ! It wasn't no more fun . Today, what I prefer is to go to a "Festival" for instance Cannes or Locarno. You can follow the development of the film industry in the "emergent" countries and "support" the fight against the overwhelming power of Hollywood . All the nice theatres in my town where I liked to go are gone now .
  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN Wish you a nice day, perhaps a nice party and a lot of happy days all through the year. You know what you are ? a Leo . Leo is the fifth sign of the Zodiac and is popularly associated with the keywords magnanimous, generous, hospitable, caring, warm, authoritative, active and open. Leos are typically pictured as very dignified and regal. They are hard-working, ambitious and enthusiastic, however they are prone to laziness and can often take "the easy way out." They are known to be exuberant, extroverted, generous with a natural dramatic flair and very creative. They are typically very self-assured, and love taking center-stage in whatever arena they are in. Do you recognize yourself in this description ?
  15. As usual, the books you have near your bed are those you like to read over again. I am a “maniac” reader, used to read very quickly (I followed a course years ago for that) but what I like most is to have my preferred books on my small book case near my bed, so I can take one in the middle of the night and enjoy the reading of old phrases I almost know by heart. My questions: have you the same habit and which books do you like to read over again ? Here as an example my list (in disorder): - Carl Gustav Jung : Memories, Dreams, Reflections - dkstories: all the DO stories - John Le Carr
  16. hey Conner, Did you come to Switzerland for job or holidays and how long did you stay ? What you prefer, Paris or Geneva ? and why ? I had the chance to live in both and I couldn't say which one I prefer  . BTW; its always fun to hear somebody telling that he enjoyed my town
  17. Why not GGGGG ? it means : Gay Goat Gun Gales and Guys
  18. Nice story It remembers me my own experiences as a storyteller at 17 in camps with french kids who came across the border during the war. To help them to forget what they had to endure, ghost stories were the best and I had to tell hours and invent new chapters night after night . BTW, I remember a story about a gay ghost, but I forgot where I found it, in Anthology perhaps. Could anybody help ?
  19. Flying licence ? at 17 ? What kind a plane you want to fly ? Already member of an aeroclub ? Good luck and take care
  20. Hey Dalmatia . GA Forums are here too meet people As you see you had already a lot of answers on your post As you can see it in my profile, I live in Geneva (Switzerland). here a view of it : If you want to see more, go to the galleries (but you have to post more, I think 5 more ). And if you want to know more of the members, go to the memberlist and check the profiles . And don't forget to read all these fine stories..... Old bob
  21. Wow, Congrats to your grandpa for his performance and to you to be such an awesome grandson . I could perhaps share with your grandpa my recipe for a long life (I'm 78, still running and swimming, after a heart attack and a cancer 10 years ago, and still working as a consultant 50 % of my time) : To keep smiling and make the most of all the pleasures the life offer you (I'm still smoking my pipe twice a day and I don't want to mention the other pleasures ), To eat with moderation, slowly and appreciating the fine food, To take each morning my vitamin pills, To run and swim twice a week, if possible with friends and not alone (its more fun !), To meet my doc once a year for a check up, To not worry about all the difficulties which come inevitably day after day, To stay in peace with all the world around me (thats the most difficult ), And not to forget to thanks God each evening to be what I am . Tell me what your grandpa thinks of my method .
  22. You are right. In the last 150 years, my country staid in peace, mainly because the strength of our army, and I paid my part. As an officer in the Swiss air force, I spent till the age of 55 more than 1500 days of my time to serve, the last time as an intelligence agent. Our army is gayfriendly. I knew a lot of friends who made their first "experiences" during military periods . Take care of yourself and stay in peace
