  1. Hurrah I reached it ! This is my 500th post. Thanks to all the members who gave me such a fine opportunity to improve my English . At least, I made more than 1 post per day(1.035 !). I'm not a so prolific as others, but I hope that my readers had as much fun to read as I had to write . Long life to GA.
  2. WOW But I hope we dont have to wait "months" till we can read this story .
  3. You are right, and it is a real Democracy. Ieshwar said : Greetings from the Word's Eldest Democracy(Switzerland, 1291) and Congrats to you to be proud to belong to such a big and so quick developing country I red in Wiki : "With an estimated population of 1.12 billion, India is the world's second most populous country and is expected to be the most populous by 2030". So it seems that India is really the World's Largest Democracy and will be soon the largest country (perhaps just after China ). BTW, you are 16. Here in Switzerland, the young citizen, when they are 20, go for 4 months in a military school to learn how to defend our country and later go each year, till they are 35 in a so called "repetition course" for 3 weeks. How is it in India? Are you ready to fight and even to dye for your country ? 4 years pass very quickly :2hands: !
  4. You are right ! But the feeling of time flow is not the same when you are 16 or 78 carpe diem BeatSKid (trad : enjoy th day, its latin)
  5. I can't believe that . CJ, without you, GA would be a ghost house With you it is a goat house . BTW also Congrat from me. But, really, there is no need to congrat. It's an evidence, you are the best .
  6. as Reaper says : I agree with him. But there is a difference. Regret: to be sorry for, to repent, to grieve at, to miss
  7. Hey BeaStKid, Happy Independence day (India gained it after transfer of power from the United Kingdom in August 15 1947) BTW if you want to know which are the independence days of all countries in the world go to Independence days So you can add more than 150 posts to your account .

  9. What a surprise ! a Goat hosted, and what a Goat ! CONGRAT CJ and my best wishes for your future I never doubted, it was just a problem of time When I remember your first short story and all your hesitations about writing.... comparing with your last short story what a progress you made ! HOURRA for the new hosted
  10. Beee... beee.... It very funny and I suppose the last word of it will be "END" . You cann't expect anything else from a goat
  11. Thanks for your offer . Skype is cool . I tried "SkypeMe" and got a lot of calls (most spam calls), even too many ! . I'm still searching a contact abroad to test long distance calls. Do you have any experiences with "conference calls"?
  12. As I said in another topic, I like it. But don't forget us, on the other side of Sea. Frisco is soo far away .What about a meeting in the swiss or french "Alpes" in next winter, skiing or skating ? I just hope that snow will be there, Global Warming is really a threat and nobody knows what will come in the next years .Anybody interested ?
  13. this proposal is FANTASTIC ! I agree 100% with Riegel . Here in Europa, I suppose that we are about 15 GA members. We have a lot of possibilities to be connected together and to meet (image and sound) on line, for instance through Skipe. Riegel, if you try something, I'm with you, even on the other side of the Atlantic ! Old Bob
  14. Its the 1st of August, our National Day here in Switzerland. 716 years ago, the inhabitants of tree small valleys in the Alps decided to build an alliance againts the German emperor (I'm sure you remember the story of Wilhelm Tell). The Alliance grew, french speaking and italian speaking people joined years after years, and now we are a country of mixed languages, religions, cultures and politician opinions. In remembering of the first fights, in each village, a big fire is put on a near mountain and we celebrate the courage of the old swiss fighters and the battles they won. For the first time, today is a public holiday (we are hard-working people, National Day was not so important till now ). Long life to our country .
  15. Hey you, great prolific magnanimous masterly author Already a new story, and I hadn't time till now to "digest" the other ones . Thanks to be as prolific in your stories than in your posts. Comments will come later, first I have to read .
  16. Thanks Colin But I'm still looking for people who experienced themselves long distance "skype" calls (from PC to PC). Have a good day. old Bob
  17. Hey Pitchan ! Thanks for your comment Yes, I'm sure it will help. I don't know then. Its a first try, so I didn't choose yet. BTW, I went already before on Yaoi, its nice ! I'm more searching chat possibilities than fiction .
  18. In fact, nothing, just the amount of "informations for beginners" I had to read .Its the same when you have to dip in cold water from an 3 meters high springboard . The first step is always not easy .
  19. Hey everybody. I decided yesterday to expand my
  20. Don't be silly .We know that you have no brain in your head and you cann't be the real writer of your stories  . I want to know !!! Who is behind you ? Who is the real writer ? From where come your stories ?
  21. Happy Birthday James I wish you to stay a long, long time with us, because you know that your "dry" humour and all the "experience of life" you bring in your posts are very, very appreciated :worship: Have a good day
  22. And if this doesn't work, you can call Grandpa Old Bob As Graeme said : Age is like an onion, each year a layer, each year a new person covering the old one . You have a choice : you can look gloomy back and wishing to stay in the past (as it seems you do ), or you can look forward, wishing to discover new feelings in the future (as I did since my birth 78 years ago ) One thing is sure : you will never forget the different layers of your "onion". Thats the best thing in life, everything remains in your memory, and you can live it again ! And more : your memory is much better for the good moments than for the bad ones (and even these become good ! ) Believe me, there is no reason to feel "old". Even if your body tells you so, your brain denies it .
  23. But not to forget the people who contributed the most to the forums. Here a little statistic of those who brought the most posts and who are still active! THATS REALLY A CHALLENGE Long life to the forums
